The space This open space is 3 bedrooms with 2 baths in 1749 sf well lit open vaulted 10' ceiling Santa Fe house with panoramic view of Font's, Ocotillo Forest, Indian Head, and Santa Rosa Mtn . Each room has ceiling fans in all the bedrooms along with HVAC and a large great room filled with sliding door and telescopic windows for stargazing in the International Dark Sky. There is also air filters in the master bedroom, great room, Ocotillo room, and Aloha room. Limit 2 dogs and 6 people. You have the entire house and 1.28 acres to yourself to read, write, sing a new song, or whatever. Self-check in and self-check out. No physical contact. Bring your own food & beverages. We provide a coffee bar, teas, K-cups, pots, pans, plates, cups. Pack it in, pack it out. Guest access Upgraded kitchen with GE profile & Bosch stainless steel appliances, 3 bedrooms on one story, 2 baths, 50" LCD TV, Starlink (210 mbps), IMAC & HP printer, and a separate laundry room with washer & dryer, 4 bicycles, (charcoal) bbq, copper chimneya, fire pit, wood, and use of 2 pools & gym at Resort. Bring your own charcoal for BBQ grill. E-charger for Tesla, Leaf, electric vehicle ($50). If you like a gourmet Mexican dinner for 2 or 4 upon arrival ($50), let us know in advance. Most restaurants closed by 8 pm. Borrego Springs is an International dark sky community. There is very little light pollution. Everything gets very dark. Please turn off all exterior lights by 8 pm. Sensored lights upon entry of driveway and garage door key pad. Contactless check-in Other things to note Our Borrego dig is 5 minutes drive from Christmas circle, La Casa Del Zorro, UCI Steele-Burnand Anza Borrego Desert research center, The Springs, DeAnza, Road Runner Club, and Borrego Springs Resort & Spa golf courses. Our dig is centrally located near downtown of Borrego Springs, 5 minutes to the Mall, but also a sense of seclusion and peace from hectic world. You are welcome to use the pool of Borrego Springs Resort & Spa under my name. Our million dollar view of Font's point, Indian Head, Ocotillo Forest and Santa Rosa Mtn is a wow factor. Famous photographers & painters have tried to capture our gorgeous panoramic views, you have to see it for yourself to be amazed. The International Dark sky night time sky is beyond belief; you can see the Milky Way with your naked eye on a clear moonless night. Bring your telescope and binoculars. Astronomers like Mammana have gathered in Anza for stargazing. Famous NY selling authors have written chapters @ our Dig. Painters from CO have painted our panoramic view to capture its landscape beauty. They love our serenity, peaceful, clean place so much, they don't want to leave. The songwriters want to quiet, peace & tranquility to write their next songs. Famous movie stars like CSI blond chick LA, JZ & Nancy Drew have come to our dig to rest away from the paparazzi. We give them their privacy and rest. They are people too. You can check in and check out without seeing a single soul. Bring your own food and plenty of water (for arid desert). You can cook your own gluten free, vegan healthy meals. We have a charcoal bbq grill in the backyard. In the front, we have a new comfortable settee with confetti pillows and shade pergola. The Little Film guy from LA came, took photos, and went and left us a lens or two. Chris and Tyler from Tennesee, came & filmed a short Christian music video in Anza desert. Music writers came to get some serenity to write. Movie and music producers came with their rig and made 4 movies and 2 songs. Disney+ came and made a short vignettes. SDSU film students came to film a short segment for their class. Folks want their privacy & they get it at our Dig. I leave my guests alone. Other than texting or messaging, I don't bother you. If you need me, you know where to get a hold of me. People come from Germany, AUS, New Zealand, UK, AUS, Canada to explore the quiet desert dry air. I speak English, French, and Vietnamese. Right now, this is not a place to work due to the remote location of Anza Borrego State Park. Biologist, zoologist, and LA Natural history curator have come and love our Dig! This is a place to rest and relax. Leave your Zoom meetings behind. Bring a good book to read. We have plenty of books to choose from. We want you to come to our dig to hike, bike, swim, exercise, and walk your dog. No cats and birds please, my hubby is allergic to felines. Our place is an outdoor adventure destination. We have bicyclists come in June and October for the big race. We love bicyclists. They are nicest guests! Come and check out the beautiful Anza Borrego State park, the "slot", Font's point, Bono bird sanctuary, the Anza sunrise and sunset. Bring your hiking boots, bring your binoculars for bird watching Sunny Bono Salton Sea National wildlife refuge, bird sanctuary. Bring your bikes with wide tires, unicycles, e-bikes, and tricycles. Come bike to Salton Sea (32.2 miles). Trialathletes have rested at our place before and after their special run-bike-swim (LJ shores) competitions. Bring your golf clubs and try out the 5 golf courses in Borrego Springs. The closest golf course is Borrego Springs Resort and spa. You can swim at the 2 pools under my name. The NYC Zoo curator came out here from the big apple and brought his grandson. His grandson loves the rabbits, coyote, quails, fox that come and visit our dig. The coyote is more scare of you. We love young kids to come out and explore the great outdoor! LA Natural History museum curator came and love the use of the gravel, rocks, and river bed as a natural landscape. Painters, bring your brushes. Plein air is in January at BAI art plant. Paint our deserts escape with palette of pink-purple-blue hues, paint the super moon, the blue moon, the harvest moon, worm moon. We have painters leaving us beautiful artwork of a blue moon. That's their way of saying thank you for letting them stay at our dig. Versace models have come to Borrego Springs to take photo shoots with the ocotillos at the infamous Palms hotel. Yogi masters have come out here to practice namaste and sun saluatation. Lastly, many folks have come far (Germany & Canada) and wide to see the ubiquitous ocotillo that is only known only in Borrego Springs. Just like the saguaro cactus is known in Sonoran desert, ocotillo is known in Anza Borrego State Park. This is by far the best Ocotillo native in San Diego County, Southern California.
