If you feel like escaping the forest, you are a short 15-minute drive to the grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Pagosa, and the amazing hot springs. You can also escape for some of the most sought after skiing at Wolfe Creek which is only 33 miles away. In the actual house you will find a state-of-the-art kitchen with a gas range and newer appliances. The upstairs consists of 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 1 king), 2 full baths, family room, and a washer/dryer. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 king), 2 full bathrooms, a kitchenette, large family room, a second washer/dryer, and a game/workout room. Outside you will find a deck on the front of the house, a private hot tub for 8, and beautiful views to admire. ***Please note the new internal staircase addition is COMPLETE as of April 2023!!! Our home backs to the national forest and the driveway has a significant incline. We recommend 4WD and snow tires for access to our home and driving around Pagosa during these months.*** Questions, comments, or concerns during your stay, no problem! You have access to a local property management team via text, phone, or email. The neighborhood is part of the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association. Guests are encouraged to be courteous and respect the neighbors. There is a state of the art raditiant heating system that has easy to understand directions in the guest book. In the guest book there are also cooling instructions for the home for the hotter summer months. This property is higher in elevation than Pagosa Springs allowing for cooler temperatures during the summer.
