Casa Crónica has been adapted to offer comfortable suites to its visitors with modern comforts and the Oaxacan theme that they address in their design. It was conceptualized from its previous owner, Mtro. Rubén Vasconcelos Beltrán, an illustrious Oaxacan who delved extensively into culture, spreading the history, customs, and traditions of Oaxaca on television, radio, through a score of books and publications that have earned him the "Donají Medal" award.
