Lakewoods Cottage by the Lake

Welcome to Lakewoods Cottage, your perfect getaway in the charming town of Howard. Nestled near the expansive Bald Eagle State Park and just 2 miles from the beach, our cottage offers a serene retreat surrounded by nature and abundant fishing spots. Enjoy the tranquility of a fenced yard complete with seating grilling, and a fire pit, ideal for relaxation. Plus, with a scenic 2-mile hiking path nearby, adventure awaits right at your doorstep! The Cottage is within 30 mins of PSU and LHU . The space Kayaks are available for use at your own risk. Bring a fishing rod, a boat, hiking shoes, swim suit, or picnic supplies, for the adventures in the Bald Eagle State Park, less than 5 mins away. Kitchen has a retro fridge, all-in-one mini oven, hot plate, microwave, coffee keurig with Black Rifle Coffee, and all your basic kitchen tools for your use. Notice there is not a regular full size oven/cookstove although these amenities are available in "tiny house" fashion. :) A patio with fire pit and camp wood, a large bbq grill/griddle, table and comfy seats under sails are a welcoming bonus to the cottage. There are games for kids and adults, TV and kayaks. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are central to the house. The Cottage is a 1st floor unit with all rooms being on the same level. There are 3 concrete steps to enter the house. We also have Lakewoods Urban Suite which is a separate unit on the same property. Each place has it's own separate entrances and fully furnished. Guest access Access cottage from the front of the house by the road. Park parallel to white picket fence. Two cars fit comfortably there. Enter through gate and up a few concrete steps to front door with keyless entry. You will get a personal code for the smart lock. Other things to note Pets are allowed under certain conditions. They must be cleaned up after and stay off the furniture. Must be house broken and if unattended, be caged. I would much prefer them to be hypoallergenic pets. There is a $75 fee per pet. Kayaks are available for rent and arrangements can be make with us for drop off and pick up. We are not responsible for any harm, injury, or accidents of any sort in any way. There is one Ring camera located at the front door to monitor appropriate guest count and to monitor check in and check out.
