Luxury Brewery Loft | Steps to Taproom | King Bed

Nestled in downtown Minerva just two doors from Sandy Springs Brewing Co., The BQ is a luxury historic 1800s second-floor studio. Original brick walls, exposed beams, warm finishes, a copper kitchen sink, and a digital rain shower with body jets create a cozy yet elevated stay. The space Check-in: 3:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM The BQ is a thoughtfully restored historic loft filled with original 1800s architectural details, uncovered and preserved during renovation. You’ll find stunning floor-to-ceiling original brick throughout the space. One of our favorite discoveries is the faded “HOTEL” sign on the wall. Research with the local historical society revealed it was once an exterior wall, with an arrow pointing to a hotel that stood across the street in the mid-to-late 1800s. Additional original features include a former doorway (now repurposed with shelving and greenery), a historic window (now the BQ logo nightlight and chalkboard), original wood lintels above every window, sandstone beneath the bathroom window and near the bed, and the original wood and brick staircase. This building is rich with history, character, and charm, and we are beyond excited to share it with you. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we’ve loved bringing it back to life. Guest access The only space not accessible in the BQ is the utility closet in the bathroom that will be locked. Other things to note Please note that The BQ is located on the second floor and requires climbing 19 steps to enter. If any items are left behind after your stay, guests are responsible for shipping costs to have items returned. To maintain a comfortable space for all guests: no parties, no smoking or vaping, and no animals.
