Description

Mountain views from your private boutique hotel room in downtown Mt Shasta. Walk to nearly everything from this ideal location on the historic main street to experience this very special California mountain town. This room has views of Mount Eddy, the highest peak in the Trinity Mountains at 9,025 feet and capped with snow for much of the year. There are 2 queen beds and a deep bathtub. Newly opened in 2022 with all new furnishings, tile shower + bathtub, smart tv, and fast WiFi. The space The Summit Lofts boutique hotel is located in a historic brick building in the absolute best location in downtown Mt Shasta. When you get off the highway exit and first see the building, you'll see a view of Mt Shasta behind it. Upon arrival, you'll notice there are smartlocks throughout the building, allowing for an easy and safe self check-in process. Walking into Room 201, there's plenty of space to set your luggage with a custom-built cedar luggage bench at the entry as well as a folding luggage rack. You'll notice the original, refinished hardwood floors show the cherished character of the building along with a restored Douglas fir door from 1923. New, genuine, thick wool rugs add warmth to the space along with upholstered benches at the foot of each of the two well appointed queen beds. We receive enthusiastic reviews from our guests at the Summit Lofts regarding the new mattresses and bedding that was curated through a lengthy process of trying countless combinations of bedding. You'll find a soft chair by the large windows which makes the perfect spot to drink a cup of coffee in the morning. The windows are all operable so feel free to open them up to allow Mt Shasta's clean air to fill the space. Looking out the large windows, you'll enjoy seeing people walking and enjoying the historic main street just below your 2nd story vantage point. There's a 58" smart tv in case you decide to relax by watching Hulu+ Live TV (included with your stay) or signing into one of your other favorite subscription services like Netflix or Prime. Mt Shasta has some excellent restaurants and grocery stores all within walking distance so feel free to bring dinner back to your suite where you'll find a microwave, mini fridge and a dining table which could also serve as a desk if you're looking to get a little work done during your stay. We should mention that the suite has fast and reliable fiber internet! The bathroom has a custom built cedar vanity with a quartz countertop. The bathtub is modern and deep along with a subway tiled shower. We provide BeeKind shampoo, conditioner & shower gel with a fragrance that encompasses citrus and honey. BeeKind is carefully crafted from high-quality ingredients and essential oils and contains NO parabens, phthalates or petrol-derived ingredients. In the morning, you can enjoy a morning walk for a cup of coffee from THEORY Coffee & Bakery located on the ground floor of the hotel, Seven Suns, Starbucks or Yak's Shack or try our complimentary Steeped Coffee bags right in your room by using the tea kettle provided. This space includes a mini fridge, microwave, and tea kettle only. Should you need cooking capacity including plates & utensils, please book Suites 101, 102, 206 or 210. If you love clean air, you'll appreciate the new HEPASilent air purifier in the room. If you’d like to store luggage, bikes, snowboards, skis, etc. there is a locked Gear Room on the ground floor of the hotel that is free for hotel guests. If you need to store anything like luggage for a few hours before check-in or after check-out time while you continue to explore the town, just reach out and we'll be happy to accommodate. Guest access You'll access the suite through the main entrance, through a micro lobby up one flight of stairs and down a common hallway in the building. Your room is located at the very end of the building and has its own smartlock so it will be completely private to you. Please note there is no elevator in the building so climbing one flight of stairs is required for this space. If you need a space with few or no stairs, there are 2 ground floor rooms in the hotel, Room 101 and Room 102.
