Nestled just a mile from Pisgah National Forest, less than 5 miles to downtown Brevard, and 10 miles from DuPont State Forest. This stylish retreat offers a 'home-away-from-home' ambiance whether you're seeking thrilling outdoor activities or a relaxing getaway. The space The Pisgah Portal is a private home with a large fenced backyard that includes a bike/gear wash station, bike specialty tools, as well as an entry into the basement that has been designated to be a secure bike/equipment lock up. The large backyard also has a treks deck to enjoy dinner or a morning coffee and a firepit area to relax around with family/friends at the end of a fun day outdoors. Inside the house you will find a comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen, coffee station with a traditional coffee maker and keurig machine. Each booking comes with a starter coffee pack to get you going on that first morning after a travel day! For those that need to work from home/remote, there is a dedicated Desk with printer in our large laundry room for privacy. Relax in the bedroom in a spacious king size bed in the master or on our queen size rooms. Driveway is gravel, will accommodate several cars. Guest access Guests will have access to entire house/property. Other things to note We are dog lovers and welcome them with some exceptions. Please inquire if requesting to bring large dogs (over 50 lbs) or multiple dogs. At this time, dogs are the only type of pets we accept. Please note that dogs are NOT allowed on furniture.
