Enjoy quality time with your friends and family here! The space When you want to enjoy the country life in the woods but still be close to the city, we got you! Being located in Huntsville, this township combines small town charm while retaining many big city amenities we all have grown used to. The drive up to Muskoka is truly unique and beautiful (We promise!). Approximately 2.5 hours from GTA, we are right off Highway-60 The easy access is a plus, just a few minutes away from Downtown Huntsville. However as soon as you enter the circular driveway that leads to this adorable blue cottage surrounded by tall wooded mature trees, you will forget the city immediately. The cottage is spacious and cozy! Great to accommodate large groups and still feel like you have enough space. Beautiful bare wooden roofing inside the living and dinning spaces with neutral tones and ambient lighting to set the mood right. The rooms are spacious too and each has its own charm. Enjoy a bonfire and BBQ outside in the backyard patio-that backs into the Golf Course at Deerhurst, or a cozy evening indoors binging your favourite shows. Connect your souls to the peace and quiet while you gaze up the starry skies and fall asleep to the sounds of nature! Huntsville attracts travellers from every corner of the world. It is also Ontario’s most beloved four season destination. Hence, Chalet Muskoka is perfect for you to enjoy cottage living all year round. Take your time to visit some spectacular locations around. Dine at the patios in some popular Hunstville restaurants, and explore this historic downtown. See glorious views at The lion’s Lookout. Visit the Muskoka Museum, and the Algonquin Theatre to tickle the artist in you. Golf at the beautiful Deerhurst Resort(right next door) or go Treetop Trekking (across the road from the house) if that’s more your scene. Skate at the Skateboard park or Ski/Snowboard at the Hidden Vally Ski Area (right ahead on Highway-60). Swim at the numerous lakes and beaches with public access across the city, with some amazing sunsets to watch! Enjoy local festivals depending on when you are staying. When that starts to sound like a full itinerary, stop by at Kawartha Dairy for big helpings of delicious ice creams on your way back to the cottage. Other things to note Garbage: We request that you collect all the trash during your stay and keep the bags in the detached garage. All guests are responsible to dispose their own garbage before leaving. The closest transfer station is ‘Sinclair Transfer Station’ and 2 black bags are free to dispose! (Nominal charge for more) Please be sure to check hours and address online. No Smoking Indoors- Please be mindful to keep the inside of the house smoke free. Noise: Please be mindful to not play loud music or be noisy after 11pm. No outside shoes indoor- Please help us keep the house clean by leaving your shoes outside on the porch on the shoe rack!
