There are ONLY 3 restaurants in Duck Creek open year round+ a NEW coffee spot. Off-road on the hundreds of miles of trails, fish, hike or explore nearby slot canyons. Duck Creek Vi The space ✫ ✫COMPLIMENTARY HOT BEVERAGES ✫ ✫ Canyon Country Chalet is stocked with complimentary hot beverages (coffee/tea/hot chocolate/apple cider) for morning and evening gazing out the chalet windows or while you an enjoy a great book or game with family and friends. I love my coffee, so there are two different roasts and decaf, as well as creamers and sugar for those who like it sweet. There are at least six to eight different varieties of tea. Indoor toys in our "Adventure Cave", activities include many board games, puzzles, and cards, Corn-Hole, Axe-Throw (Plastic), Basketball Duo, Pac-man Arcade with several games built-in, and movies on 75” and 65” smart TV’s located in the main and lower living area with your favorite apps for streaming. Newly added - Yourigami Cushion Fort Pieces to create the perfect throne for reading or fort. ✫ ✫KITCHEN✫ ✫ Enjoy the open space floor plan on the main level of the home with kitchen, dining and living. The dining/island for six, plus a round bar height table for four allow ten guests to have seating for eating and relaxing. We've got several types of pillows for you to choose from. We want you to have a perfect night's sleep. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan. Our three bedrooms sleep 8-9 depending if the full bed is shared. We have a roll-a-way twin bed on the lower level in order to sleep 10. ✫Main Level✫ The Master Bedroom on the main level has a King bed with a Dr.Greene Kelly Soft Mattress and cozy bedding. There are extra blankets for those who like to sleep even warmer. In addition to the ceiling light fan, there are two side lamps and an alarm clock/charging station. You will have direct access to your bathroom from your room, but the bathroom also has a door into the hallway if you choose to let those on the main level use it. The bathroom has a great barn door we installed for extra privacy and a step-in shower. A hairdryer and magnifying mirror are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your convenience. The log king bed has drawers on each side if you like to unpack and a fairly large closet. The Pack&Play is stored in the master closet for those traveling with young children. ✫Upper Level✫ The "East" room has a Queen log bed, new luxury mattress, dresser, two nightstands with table lamps, and an alarm clock/charger station. There is a ceiling light fan. The Upper-Level full Bathroom is between the “East” and “West” bedrooms. It has a shower and a tub. You’ll find a hair dryer and magnifying mirror in the bathroom for your use, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body, wash in the dispenser on the shower wall. The "West" room sleeps five or six with one set of twin bunk beds, a full size bed and a single twin bed. There is a dresser and nightstand, and a ceiling light fan. Each bed has a twin white coverlet bedding and a blanket at the end for additional warmth. There is an upper loft area not for use that we use to store items that has a custom fence. ✫Lower Level✫ Additional living area for more space to spread and hang out. Arcade Pacman, "Adventure Cave", Fort Cushions and access to the garage for more games. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub on the lower level. You will also find a hair dryer, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a basket of blankets for cozying up on the leather recliners. Need a place to work? A Bar-height desk set at the window allows you to see deer passing. A 65” TV is also located on this level. We have a twin roll-a-way foldable bed on this level for you to use if you need it. ✫ ✫ADVENTURE CAVE✫ ✫ On the lower level, there are toys, coloring paper/crayons, and books; log pillows to kick back in the cave or living area, and a carpeted area cave for your children to play. We’ve been careful to not have toys that could be a choking hazard. Please do check the toys available. There are also large Jenga blocks to pull out and build in the open living area. There are real caves you can visit while in Duck Creek Village between May to early October. Outside Security Cameras: 1. One is located above the garage to see the north front side of the home. 2. Located near front door on east side of the home. 3. Backside of the home. 4. West side of the home to see secondary entrance. Guest access You have the whole Chalet for your vacation. The chalet sits on half an acre. Other things to note Check with your host-owner of the chalet for grocery store suggestions. I love grabbing quick items/meals at our local True Value Grocery in the village, but for a full shopping, you'll likely want a cooler or cooler bag with ice to get your groceries from two grocery stores or Walmart in Cedar City if coming from the West or two grocery stores in Kanab (1 hr. from Chalet).
