Olympic Forager House on the bay, hot tub & kayak

Or just enjoy the stunning water view as you relax in the hot tub after gathering shells on the beach or kayaking in the Sequim Bay. Make S'more out of the indoor fireplace or outdoor Solo Stove. Sequim Bay State Park is right next to the property, which is perfect for a short walk. The space The main house has one bedroom downstairs equipped with a queen size bed and a twin bed and a loft upstairs with a king size bed. There are one full bath downstairs, one full bath at the loft level and one half bath on lower level. Spacious living and dining space can easily accommodate your group spending quality time together. Indoor fireplace adds the fun when it becomes too cold to use the outdoor solo stove. The kitchen is fully stocked and gas oven and range allow you to cook with ease. Make your morning coffee from the breakfast nook with either a French press or coffee machine. On the spacious deck facing the water you will find the outdoor dinning set, lounge area with a solo stove (from May - Oct), a hammock, a gas grill, space for yoga/meditation and a 6-person hot tub! Picnic on the lawn or enjoy the fireside chat with family and friends while enjoying the setting sun casting glow over the Bay. Water is accessed by going down the stairs. Take the kayaks/paddles boards down the stairs to launch straight from the private water front of the house and soak in the serenity of Sequim Bay. There is two standup paddles, three single sit-in kayaks and one sit-on-top double kayak that's shared with us or other two guests in the cabin. Guest access The house is accessed through a private driveway at the end of the road. There are two houses on site of this 2-acre property. The larger main house at the end is for you to stay, while we live on the cabin (or rented to other guests when we are gone for a while). Other things to note Driving distance / drive time to major attractions: - Olympic National Park / Hurricane Ridge ~40miles, 1h - Olympic National Park / Lake Crescent ~40miles, 1h - Olympic National Park / Rialto Beach ~90miles, 2h - Olympic National Park / Hoh River ~110miles, 2.5h *Olympic National Park is so big that no matter where you stay it will involve a lot of driving. We recommend one to two attractions per day to allow time to enjoy the nature. - Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, 15 miles, 25 min - Purple Haze Lavender farm, 5 miles, 10 min - Sequim (Costco, Walmart, Safeway, QFC etc), 6 miles, 10 min - Port Townsend, 26 miles, 40 min - Port Angeles, 22 miles, 30 min This is our home, please take good care of it! It's not a resort with round-the-clock service. Like any home, things may occasionally need attention, and being in a peaceful rural setting means that arranging for a technician can sometimes take a little extra time. Cliff do exists towards the water so be sure to keep an eye on your kids and pets. The water can be reached by steep stairs. We welcome your dog(s) but we ask you to always pick up after them and only leave them unleashed to play in the designated lawn area while we are restoring native plants on the site!
