Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax listening to the creek and waterfall. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Clayton. The charming city has shops, coffee, restaurants, a brewery and Wander North Georgia. Explore a bit farther out to Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock Mountain, Lake Burton and Tiger. Cabin has 1 bedroom and a loft with more beds. Full kitchen and laundry. Check out our Instagram @ursaminorcabin. The space The cabin is situated in a 6 acre remote property on the side of a cliff next to a creek and waterfall. There are about 4 flights of stairs down to the cabin. The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed in it. The loft has 2 twin beds with a very low ceiling. The living room has a Full fold out bed. There is a small, but full kitchen with some pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. There is a small table for dining. The tv had NO cable or internet and it only for watching DVDs. We usually move it into the living room of the kids want to watch something. You can go for a walk around the property or take a quick drive into town or nearby sightseeing. Guest access The cabin is in the back of a neighborhood with a packed gravel road that is somewhat steep at times. Our driveway is around a mile long and is very steep at times and loose gravel. When leaving the cabin, you will need to reverse uphill about 100 feet. All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is recommended, but required when there may be ice or snow on the ground. We do not recommend arriving after dark for check in due to the driveway having twists and turns. After check in, you can come and go anytime. Low clearance vehicles are not recommended. Other things to note There is no trash service at the cabin. You must pack out your trash. There is a dump about 20 min away of you would like to bring trash and recycling there on your way out or during your stay.
