Diamonds On The Water on Lac Courte Oreilles

If you’re looking for your next getaway this is it! You will be quite hard-pressed to find a place closer to the water! This gorgeous Northwoods property sits on almost a 1⁄2 acre lot on the beautiful Lac Courte Oreilles lake with 260 feet of frontage. Wake up to incredible lake views from your main living area and bedrooms. The four season home features hardwood floors, hickory cabinets, beautiful custom tiled shower and an amazing peninsula location! AND, it is right on ATV/Snowmobile trail! The space * New lakefront windows in living room, dining room, and master bedroom. * New bubbling rock water feature to enjoy the sites and sounds while relaxing outside by the fire or playing cornhole. * Extended dock from 60' to 100' with a new (to us) aluminum dock w/ composite tops! This will allow for a greater variety of boats. At the end of the dock there is a 14’ x 12’ sun deck! * We now have 2 kayaks, a canoe, and paddleboard that our guests can use *at no additional cost*. These are to be put into and out of the water via grassy areas and/or carrying to dock. Please do *not* drag them on ground. We will do our best to make sure they are cleaned and ready for you, but please understand that they may need to be wiped out prior and after use. * In addition to the indoor games already provided in one of the cabinets, we have also added a corn hole game for outdoors located in storage box on creek side of house. ********************************************* The lake front windows in the living room, dining room, and master bedroom are literally just a few feet from the edge of the water!! Then having the stream wrap around the home, you have great views of water from nearly every single room!! We hope you enjoy your stay in our cabin setting. In keeping with the cabin setting, there is no TV. But there is Wi-Fi fast enough to stream on your devices. The two bedrooms each have drawers and shelving for each side but are back-to-back so each side is 1/2 deep. Please be careful when pulling drawers open. The bedrooms also have a shared/pass-through closet for hanging clothes and have full length mirrors for doors. For stays during the spring, summer, and fall months: We do have a dock that can be used. The bay we are in has beautiful sandy bottom that is quite shallow and great for swimming and playing in the water. But please do not jump/dive from the dock as we don't want you to get injured! The dock is typically put out by mid-May and taken in by end of September. If booking for a stay in May or October and you are wanting to use the dock, please reach out to us to verify if it will be available for your dates. We understand that pets may be part of your family, but due to owners’ allergies as well as other guest’s potential allergies, we do not allow pets. If you are looking to rent a pontoon, we do have one available to rent via AirBnB which can be found by searching "Diamonds On The Water - Pontoon" or send us a message and we can provide the link (not allowed to do so here). For stays during winter months: Please note that caution should ALWAYS be taken if going on the ice. Where the stream enters the lake it does not freeze solid. Guest access You will be able to access the entire home and property except the garage and the utility room inside the house. You will not have to share the property with anyone while you enjoy playing outside, on the dock, in the water, or relaxing by the fire pit as you enjoy the lake view. Other things to note Newly installed central air conditioning in June 2022!! The property has about 250’ of lake shoreline as well as about 200+’ of frontage on a stream/creek. Both offer many benefits from swimming to fishing and kayaking, etc. But please note, that nobody owns the water and people can be just outside of the property and be on the water. But rest assured, all windows have blinds/coverings so that you can close them and keep your privacy. Or leave them open and watch the people/groups enjoying the lake and stream while heading to the connected lake. Max capacity for “Diamonds On The Water” is 6. Infants and children count to the total. No exceptions. You will be asked to leave if the amount is over the registered guests without refund. On the lake, which is 5+ miles long, there are two restaurants accessible via boat (or car). On our end of the lake is Trails End and near the other end of the lake is Anglers Haven. You can also gas up your boats from shore at Trails End. SUMMER: We have a service that cares care of the lawn maintenance and they try their best to take care of it in between guest stays. But until we are able to control Mother Nature, sometimes it happens that it must happen at other times. If they come during your stay, they are usually in and out in about a half hour. They will not need to come inside but may knock on the door to make sure that it is a good time. While mowing, they will walk entirely around the home to weed whip. WINTER: We have a service that takes care of the snow on the driveway and walkway and they do their best to do so when needed prior to your arrival. If a snow storm comes along during your stay accumulating more than a couple of inches, they may come and require your vehicle(s) to be moved in order to plow/shovel. There are also 2 shovels provided for your use if needed
