Guests will enjoy their own private spaces with two bedroom ensuites (Queen & King) located on the second floor, each room opens to a large upper balcony with additional seating. 4 bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrella and cooler included for guests use with rental. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include a Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit. 2 Parking Spaces - No trailers of any kind allowed. THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS: The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
