The owners live onsite in a separate adjacent bungalow, with **no shared living spaces or entrances**, you'll have complete privacy. Your stay includes the **second and third stories of our lodge-style main house**, with soaring **27-foot ceilings, exposed beams, abundant windows, 3 bedrooms plus a cozy twin sleeping nook, two full bathrooms, and room for up to 8 guests**. In the cooler months, turn on the electric fireplace and settle in with a movie, game, or good book. When summer arrives, the A/C keeps things comfortable. Upstairs, the open loft offers an **office/work/library area** for anyone who needs to stay connected - or simply wants a quiet corner to themselves. When it's time to unwind, enjoy your **private sauna** or sink into the **oversized soaking tub**. Sometimes the best part of getting away is having nowhere you need to be. The kitchen is made for actually cooking, with a **5-burner gas stove, electric grill, toaster oven**, and plenty of the basics already waiting for you. We keep it stocked with condiments, spices, and snacks so you don't have to bring every little thing from home. And breakfast is something of a tradition here. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee, **farm-fresh eggs**, and AJ's homemade **gluten-free buttermilk pancake and waffle mix**, waiting in the fridge along with real butter and Grade A maple syrup. Step outside onto the **front or back deck** with your morning coffee, enjoy dinner outside, or simply take in the peaceful territorial views. While the surrounding yard and grounds are reserved for the owners and are not included with the rental, both decks are yours to enjoy and provide plenty of private outdoor space. The owners live onsite in the **separate Bungalow adjacent to the main house**. The Bungalow and main house are connected only by a spacious closet area, with **separate entrances and no shared living spaces** - close enough if you need something, while giving you the privacy to settle in and enjoy the home as your own during your stay. **Please note: no children over the age of 1.** Unfortunately, the property and layout are not well suited for active and curious youngsters. **No pets, please.** But if you enjoy animals and nature, keep an eye out through the home's many windows and decks - you never know what local wildlife may wander into view. When you feel like exploring, the quaint town of **Castle Rock is just 12 minutes away**, where you can stroll along the waterfront, grab a coffee, and browse the local shops. Venture farther and you'll find the remarkable landscape surrounding **Mount St. Helens**, while both the coast and city make for easy day-trip adventures. And while this is a wonderful place to disconnect, you don't have to. **Starlink internet, a smart TV, and Wi-Fi calling** make it easy to work remotely, stream a movie, share your adventures, or stay connected when you want to. Whether you're gathering with friends, traveling with family, working remotely, or simply looking for somewhere peaceful to disappear for a few days, the house offers plenty of room to spread out and plenty of cozy places to come back together. **Come ready to settle in, slow down, and enjoy your stay.** Guest access Guests will have access to the entire 4,000sq ft main house on the second and third level. The front and back decks on the main floor (second floor) are all yours for an outdoor space. it's an entirely separate and private unit than the owners Bungalow living quarters. There are no shared spaces or common walls. Other things to note If having pure water is important to you, the well water is spectacular. It has a high PH balance and has been tested free of all impurities. The taste alone will have you coming back for more.
