Bathroom The main-floor bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, offering everything you need for a stress-free and refreshing stay. Kitchen, Dining, and Living Area The open kitchen, dining, and living area form the heart of the cabin. This space is ideal for preparing meals, sharing stories, and spending quality time together. Large windows bring in natural light and showcase the serene waterfront views, blending comfort with the beauty of nature. Outdoor Spaces Step onto your private porch, complete with seating and a grill, perfect for enjoying meals or relaxing while taking in the peaceful lake views. With the sandy beach just steps away, you can swim, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the waterfront setting. Other Things to Note ✍️ A quick signature on ExcapeAway’s rental agreement is required before check-in. 🔑 Self check-in. We kindly ask that you arrive before 9 PM so we can assist you if you need anything. 💧 Water info: Our filtered well water is safe to drink, but feel free to bring bottled water if you prefer. 🔒 Your safety comes first: Exterior cameras are located on the Maine House overlooking the parking lot and lakeside of the Lodge. 🚗 Maine Roads: Snowy and unpaved rural roads and driveways are part of the Maine experience! An all-wheel drive car is highly recommended. 🏡 Cabin companions: You might see an insect or two indoors—just part of the authentic lakeside experience! 🐶 Pets Welcome! We happily accept max of 2 pets per stay. Pet fee: one-time per dog (unless staying 30+ days). Guest access At The Lodge and Cabins, we invite all guests to make the most of our shared amenities, including the expansive 300-foot sandy beach, kayaks, paddles, life jackets, Adirondack chairs, and lawn games—perfect for a day of lakeside fun. For more personal relaxation, each cabin also features its own private propane grill and firepit, giving you the best of both shared and private spaces during your stay. Contact us for larger parties or event hosting. Other things to note THINGS TO NOTE - Your safety matters to us. There is a ring security camera located on the Maine House overlooking the parking lot and the lakeside of the Lodge. - In Maine, winter isn’t just a season—it’s an adventure! To navigate our snowy roads like a true Mainer, we highly recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle. - We’re still working on perfecting our weather-controlling superpower, but until then, we are unable to provide refunds for storms and power outages. - Water is filtered well water and safe to drink. That said, we know everyone has their own taste preferences, so feel free to bring bottled if you prefer. - While we strive to keep the cabin spotless, you're in the heart of rural Maine, where even our best efforts can't keep every curious critter away. You may spot an insect or two indoors. Consider them your rustic cabin companions—here to complete the authentic lakeside experience! PET POLICIES/GUIDELINES - We accept pets (max of 2). - Pet fee is a one time fee per pet unless staying greater than 30 days; $150/pet - To prevent damages, pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Please bring your own pet's bedding or crate for their comfort. - Whenever possible, please crate pets when not home. - Please be sure your pet is on a leash at all times when outdoors and pick up all pet waste in the yard during your stay.
