Two large oceanside decks for great views. Located less than 1 mile from shops & restaurants in Surf City & nestled at the end of the road so no traffic. Feel the soft sands within a 40 second stroll from the deck. There are no roads to cross. Ocean views from every bedroom. The space MONTHLY RENTALS AVAILABLE DURING WINTER! Work from 'home' at the beach! Upon booking, our rental agreement will automatically be agreed upon by you. Please request a copy. A signed pet agreement is also required if bringing up to 2 dogs. Dogs (no other types of animals allowed) will need to be pre-approved. There is open parking for up to six vehicles. This home is made for entertaining. A picnic table, stainless steel park style charcoal grill, gas grill, and enclosed hot and cold outdoor shower are located outside on the ground level. The direct beach access is located off the ground level deck. It’s landscaped beautifully for privacy. The entrance to the home is located on the ground level in the carport area. Step inside and this home shines with charming beachy décor where surfboards set the stage for a magical coastal escape. The large foyer has storage space for shoes, keys, beach chairs, and other personal items. Make your way up a few stairs and set your luggage down in one of the 3 bedrooms. There’s a queen bed in the ‘fishing room,’ and double-bunks in the kids’ ‘boat room.’ The Master Bedroom at the end of the hall is the ‘turtle room.' It is a spacious room with a king size bed, a desk with a monitor, mouse & keyboard, a dresser, and a Bose radio/alarm clock. This bedroom also has a private bathroom, complete with large tub and separate shower. All bedrooms have comfy beds, flat screen TVs with cable and DVD players. There is an alarm clock and ceiling fan in most bedrooms, with the exception of the bunk bedroom which does not have a fan. All Bedrooms have ocean views and sliding glass doors to access the deck which features a porch swing and various chairs and tables. In the hallway is a large shared bathroom with double sinks, full size shower/tub combination, and brightly colored beach décor. The laundry room, with a full sized washer and dryer, is also located on this level. Walk up the stairs to the ‘surf shack’ and you’ll notice the open floor plan on the top floor is conducive for gathering multiple generations or several families. The living room offers a Flat Screen TV, DVD player, full Hi-Fi stereo system, ceiling fans and plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. Additional seating for 3 is found at the kitchen bar along with the additional 3 chairs at the high table next to the beautiful bay window in the living room. There is also a large dining room with seating for 6. This is the perfect area for a meal with a view or for one of the available puzzles or games on a rainy afternoon. Ample seating abound throughout this space ensure a relaxing space to spend your time while not on the beach. The kitchen allows for plenty of space for preparing meals and a well-stocked kitchen to make cooking a joy. The bright kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you enjoy at home. Amenities include a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, built-in microwave, blender, traditional coffee maker, tea pot, toaster and more. Also, on this level, another bedroom features a king bed and opens to a jack-and-jill bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Guests can also access this bathroom from the upstairs hallway. Sliding glass doors from the bedroom and living room lead to the 3rd floor balcony filled with many rocking chairs and a picnic table for relaxing and enjoying views and sounds of the ocean. This covered deck enjoys late afternoon and evening shade and is a great spot to sit, watch the surf, and enjoy a cool summer drink. Dozens of local restaurants and shops are all just minutes away. And don’t forget about the beautiful Surf City Ocean Pier. This pier has been photographed millions of times, and you’ll enjoy watching the surfers that swarm the area. Our location offers you a respite from the busy city environment. Surf City is easily reached on foot or bike. All within a short distance of places like Fractured Prune Doughnuts, Surf City Steamers, Santinos, Beauchaines, Daddy Mac's, Buddy's Crab House, Surf City Pier, Shaka Taco, unWINEd, Island Delights ice-cream, hotdogs, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, famous sky bridge, surf shops, grocery stores, & sushi. Herring's Outdoor Sports is just a block away and offers bike, kayak, surfboard, game rentals, and more! We are just minutes to the Turtle Hospital and just a few miles away from Holly Ridge, Hampstead, and Sneads Ferry. Wilmington and the famous Wrightsville Beach are a bit longer drive, but not too bad. You can be there in about 30-40 minutes. This Nauti Surf Shack rents weekly from Saturday to Saturday for 7 nights during Spring Break, holidays, and the Summer months. All other times there is a 4 night minimum but contact us for other schedule deviations. We will see what we can do! Guest access Check-in: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM Checkout: 10:00 AM: Once you have checked out, your car may no longer park in the driveway or use the home. Linens are provided (sheets, kitchen and bath towels). Beach towels are not included. You must acknowledge: *Must climb stairs *If you damage the home, you will be charged for damages. *Do not move the furniture or you will be charged. Other things to note LINENS ARE PROVIDED PETS *Up to 2 well behaved, full grown, house broken dogs, small to medium sized, are permitted with owner's approval. Please tell us about your dogs before booking. There is a non-refundable $200 pet fee. An additional pet fee of $100 is charged for a 2nd dog. Either pet must be approved prior to booking. Send pictures & a brief description of the pets. Fees will be added onto the booking. A separate rental contract will be sent for the dogs. *Smoking is NOT permitted in the property. *Our home has an outdoor security camera located in carport area covering entrance of home. *We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under 26 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. *No third-party bookings. *Maximum occupancy is 10 at any time. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation. We do recommend you buy separate travel insurance (non VRBO) when booking your trip. Before you’re even able to finish packing your sunscreen and swimsuits, an unforeseen circumstance could force cancellation of your trip—for instance, if you become ill or a family member dies. Separate travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage will reimburse the prepaid, nonrefundable costs of your trip in these kinds of situations. Furthermore, if you, a family member or a travel companion becomes sick or is injured while traveling, the outside policy’s trip cancellation feature typically would reimburse you for the unused part of the trip. The trip cancellation benefit could even kick in if you, a family member or a travel companion dies while traveling. We want everyone to enjoy themselves & have a great vacation. People who don’t like the hot season will love the winter at the coast of North Carolina. It’s chilly at the beach but not too cold. The weather is beautiful, and a lot milder than in New York or other Eastern states The rent is cheaper when you stay longer. There are no hidden fees. The rent includes your utilities, TV, and high-speed internet as well. The home is fully furnished. You don’t need to bring anything just your clothes, PJ, toothbrush, food, and drink.
