It's a 1 hour ride to bigger mountains for skiing and hiking. Only a 25 minute drive to Mt. Blue State Park for ice skating, Nordic skiing and snowmobiling, offers beautiful views of the Tumble Down range, and surrounding mountains . Wilson Lake and Clearwater are roughly 15 minutes with Web lake about 25 minutes away. These lakes are perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, water skiing, and swimming. Farmington and Wilton are friendly towns with lots to offer. In the winter, guests will need all wheel or four wheel drive vehicles for getting in and out of the driveway.
