Inspired by H.C. Andersen’ fairy tales the Dutch House was designed and built as an experiment in bringing a fairy tale into reality. We would like you to enjoy one of Atlanta's most romantic places and its lovely setting! The space Open the door and step into a dream - that simple! The Dutch House is situated on the hill by the river, sharing 11 park-like acres with the main house - the oldest Victorian house in the metro Atlanta, circa 1834. The house was the site of the horror movie "Bleed" (2015) and an upcoming (2023) movie series "Class of '09". Our guests are welcome to use the property's amenities - a hammock, a swing chair, the basketball court, the fire pit, the ping pong table as well as the gas grill and your own jacuzzi located on your deck. There's also access to a newly built pickle ball court on the property. The Sauna with all the implements is available at $200 charge. You will find yourself tucked away from the noise and traffic of Atlanta yet just some 15 min. drive from it. Stone Mountain park is 6-7 min away and Yellow River park is a short 3 min. drive. Adjacent to the property is 100 acres of state land with a beautiful trail along the river. Inside you will have at your convenience cable TV with Netflix, fast internet, an ambient electric fireplace, and the rest of all the usual modern amenities. The jacuzzi is hidden from view and completely private. Guest access Free on-site parking. The new Finish style sauna is available at $200 (that includes linen, robes, slippers, birch broom, beverages, outdoor splash shower). It is an extremely enjoyable and rejuvenating experience!
