WARU Whakatane: Waterfront Apartment

A stay in WARU will both surprise & delight you. You will discover a very peaceful, spacious & comfortable apartment. The views of the water, the bush, town centre & even the distant Manawahe hills are stunning & relaxing. The proximity of being so close to the town centre & activities associated with the CBD & river allows you the freedom to walk to most places quickly & easily. No need to take the car. The space Alongside the Whakatane waterfront, WARU is as close as you can get to the river, the walkway & wharf, cafes, restaurants & shopping. The skatepark & two children's playgrounds are only a short stroll away. With an open plan fully equipped kitchen & laundry, spacious dining & lounge areas help you feel right at home. Both the lounge & main bedroom have access to a sunny & sheltered balcony where you can sit & enjoy the view, relax with a book, watch the birds or the activity on the river. With a 55" smart TV & a Sonos sound system you can watch tv, Netflix or dvds, or choose your favourite artists/radio stations to listen to once you’ve downloaded the Sonos app on your phone. Up to four people can be accommodated comfortably. The king size bed suits couples & there are two single beds in the second bedroom. Rest assured the beds are very comfortable with quality linen & a selection of pillows to choose from. You are barely a stone's throw away from the i-site and bus stop, town centre as well as tourist activities like Moutohora Island tours & fishing, diving and kayaking charters. Cycle, take a walk along the waterfront, or hike the hills along Toi's Track through beautiful native bush with fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, Otarawairere Bay & Ohope Beach. Guest access Guests will be met personally by Shelly & all they need to know will be explained. If unable to meet guests on arrival, the necessary information will be sent by text msg before arrival which will allow guests to access WARU. Guests will then have the use of the entire apartment. Shelly will arrive later to ensure everyone is settled in nicely, happy with the apartment & also to answer any questions guests might have. Other things to note There is a Dyson heating and cooling fan in the living area. There is also a thermostatically controlled heater. Cooling fans with remotes are in both bedrooms. Washer, dryer, & drying rack facilities provided. Two secure undercover car parks at ground level are for your use. Free 120min street parking available outside apartment on Quay St. It is expected & appreciated that guests will remove rubbish & leave the apartment tidy. Thank you.
