The Lodge on Caribou Lake-Close to Lutsen Mountain

If you love the outdoors, you've come to the right place! During the winter months, you can enjoy downhill skiing at Lutsen Mountain. The area is also prime location for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. In the summer, you can hike the beautiful 310-mile Superior Hiking Trail, bike the Gitchi Gami trail, mountain bike, and golf the beautiful, 27-hole Superior National Golf Course. If you want to experience north shore culture, Grand Marais, is a 25 minute drive. The space The Lodge on Caribou Lake is a spacious log cabin with an open kitchen, dining room, & living room, boasting large wooden beams, a wood fireplace, and a kids' area with books, toys, stuffed animals and a rocking moose. Enjoy meals at the large dining room table that can comfortably seat 10 people. Spend time mingling as you cook with 4 barstools at the kitchen island. It has 3 spacious bedrooms that are in a separate part of the cabin from the main living area. The master bedroom offers a king size bed, a private 3/4 bathroom, and a view of Caribou Lake. The moonlight room has a queen bed and a beautiful view of the moon. The third bedroom is large, with a queen bed and two bunk beds, perfect for a family. There is also a second bathroom with a tub and shower. There are two TVs in the cabin, one in the master bedroom and one in the basement family room. Both allow access to netflix and other streaming platforms by simply logging into your account. The cabin has plenty of options for outdoor eating/seating with 3 decks---two that offer a table and umbrella and another deck with two adirondack chairs. All of the decks have a view of Caribou Lake. Other things to note If you are looking for a place to party, be loud, and jet ski, this is not the place for you. Note: We rent a cottage on the property to a resident of Lutsen. It is approximately 500 feet from the cabin. 4WD/AWD is highly recommended once the snow starts falling.
