ON ANY OTHER OCCASION You may meet other people in Wernog Wood who are attending craft courses. Some may be parked near the Red Shed. Wernog Wood is a large space so you will not be disturbed by them. All activities are quiet as they are using hand tools only. Once you have seen them in action, you may even be inspired to do a course yourself in future. There is a lovely local pub, The Griffin, just a mile's walk down through our woodland, or if you walk 3 miles over the top of the hills in the other direction you will find The Raven or The Druid Inn. Please note that many local pubs are closed early in the week and it is always advisable to book your table. This is what some of our recent visitors wrote - "Wernog Wood and the Red Shed is just what the doctor ordered. The Red Shed is not too dissimilar to the dwellings of little red riding hood and three bears. In other words, it is like staying in a fairytale"
