There is also a further bedroom with a super kingsized bed which can convert to two singles, making Sgubor Fach ideal for families up to four (plus infant – travel cot available), couples or a small group of friends who want to get away from it all. For the kids a travel cot, and highchair can be provided. Sgubor Fach is in the Tanat Valley, so you will have no shortage of local pubs, restaurants and other places to eat out. You are also spoilt for choice with both Lake Vyrnwy and the magnificent Llanrhaeadr waterfall nearby. The village is surrounded by steep hills, forests and waterfalls and is an excellent start from which to explore the Berwyn mountains. Just five miles away is the quaint village of Llanfyllin, which boasts many shops, restaurants and pubs; or you can drive 30 minutes to Welshpool to visit Powis Castle (National Trust). From the house there is woodland to roam and plenty of local walks to take from nearby.
