The Adventure Bungalow is in the middle of the incredible amenities that the Town of Crested Butte have to offer, yet tucked away in a quiet and serene corner of town. Enjoy a private hot tub after a long day of adventuring! The Location Located on the southwest edge of town, you have easy access to all Crested Butte has to offer! Most are able to park their car and forget about it until it’s time to pack up and leave. Here are distances to some Crested Butte Adventures: - Free Shuttle to Crested Butte Mountain Resort: 2 Blocks - Elk Avenue (shops and restaurants): 3 Blocks - Nordic Trails: Across the street - Nordic Center/Ice Skating Rink/Sledding Hill: 1 Block - Green Lake Trail Access: 1 Block - Slate River Trails: 5 Blocks *This property is pet-friendly. Our pet policy is as follows. We allow up to one dog on the property at a time unless otherwise approved by management. There is a $400 refundable pet deposit and a $50/day pet fee per dog which will be deducted from the pet deposit . We do not allow cats. No dogs, cats, animals, birds, or pets of any kind shall be permitted on Premises without prior written consent of Management. If management becomes aware of the existence of a pet on premises without prior written consent of Management, Renter will be asked to leave, access will be revoked, and the full pet deposit will be charged to your account.* Downstairs As you enter the house into the mud room, ample hooks allow you to stage your gear for the next adventure. Through the mud room, you walk into a hallway leading to the large full bathroom with heated floors, and 2 bedrooms (master with king bed and another with twin bunk beds and a queen bed). Upstairs The second floor of the property offers beautiful views of Mt. Crested Butte. An open floor plan and kitchen designed for a collaborative cooking experience ensure that your group enjoys the quality time together! A desk in the living area also offers the option to get some work done while on the road if necessary (but please don’t work too hard – you are here to play!). Lest we forget, the upstairs also has a half-bathroom disguised as an old mining shack. Hot Water The Adventure Bungalow utilizes an on-demand hot water system, which means unlimited hot water supply during your stay! The unit takes a minute or two to heat up, but it's worth the wait! Temperature Control In-floor radiant heat is supplied throughout the Adventure Bungalow, and provides a consistent, even temperature throughout the home. This system can take hours to get back up to temperature, so please be patient with it if you open windows or leave doors open. Just in case preferences vary, space heaters are provided in each bedroom. Since CB doesn't get very hot in the summer, A/C is not standard in town. Feel free to open the windows to feel the fresh mountain breeze! You will have unique door code for your group so that throughout your stay, there is no coordinating key pickup or sharing of keys amongst the group! I will be in contact prior to your stay with your access info. During times of COVID, we strive for an exceptionally clean and socially distanced stay for you. In-person interaction is not necessary for check-in or check-out, but in case you need help during your stay, someone will be nearby. The Adventure Bungalow is located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of town. Close to numerous restaurants, the Bus Stop for the Free Town Bus, Nordic Center, Ice Skating Rink, Sledding Hill, Trails, Skate Park, and Kebler Pass, this is a great home base for all your Crested Butte Adventures! Once you arrive, most of your adventures are accessible right out the front door! The Adventure Bungalow has 2 parking spaces, is located 2 blocks from the free bus to Crested Butte Mountain Resort, 3 blocks from Elk Avenue, and 1 block from the Nordic Center.
