Situated on 20 acres of gorgeous bushland and part of the Brandy Hot Forest Retreat, Acacia House provides the peace and serenity of a forest escape (with views of kangaroos hopping past your bedroom window), whilst only a short drive from all the cosmopolitan pleasures Daylesford has to offer! Everything you could want for your escape to the country is here. The open-plan living and dining rooms feature large windows and sliding doors onto decking and the great outdoors; ducted heating and cooling provide all-year-round comfort. A chef’s kitchen with a 900mm oven and cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and fresh filtered rainwater makes preparing meals a breeze. The glass front wood fire creates that warm and inviting atmosphere for board games, charade battles, or movie marathons on those cold and rainy nights. You’ll wake to the sounds of birdsong, and can spend your days either visiting Daylesford and nearby towns or simply staying at home reading by the woodfire, or following picturesque walking trails through the surrounding forest. In the evenings, a large deck with outdoor lounges and BBQ provides ease of entertaining, the firepit area to the back is a space that supports star gazing and storytelling for young and old. The villas are located approximately 50 meters from the main house and ten meters from each other. This is a wonderful retreat to gather and celebrate life with those you love. Please note, when booking Acacia House alone, that Banksia and Clematis Villas are located on the property and may be booked separately. Please be mindful of their privacy when staying at Acacia House. This is a rural property with unfenced dams. Bedrooms 3, 4, 5 & 7 each have a king bed that can be split into 2 x King Singles. We will contact you when your booking is received to confirm your preferred bedding configuration. Guest access This property is part of Brandy Hot Forest Retreat. There are three dwellings located on the property. This dwelling is fully self-contained and you will have sole occupancy of the dwelling for the duration of your stay.
