Comfortable mountain cottage located just 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and 6.5 miles from Jefferson. Roans Creek, directly below the house provides the constant, melodic sound of running water. Lots to do in the area. Great sightseeing, small town main street shopping and art district in nearby West Jefferson. Area activities include hiking, biking, picnicking, canoeing, tubing, fishing & leaf peeping. House is fully renovated and offers all comforts of home. The space House has been completely renovated. Fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer. Dinning room table seats six and another table in adjoining game area seats four. Living Room with propane fireplace, cable tv, dvd player and comfortable seating for the entire family. Three bedrooms sleep seven ( two queen beds, three twin beds). One bedroom has cable tv. Linens, picnic table and gas grill are provided. Wonderful covered front porch overlooking Roans Creek. Garage parking for two vehicles available. Also provided WiFi, games, books, puzzles, movies and pack-n-play. Propane heaters and fireplace comfortably heat the house. House phone for emergency calls and unlimited incoming calls is available. No pets or inside smoking please. Guest access Guests have access to the entire rental property. Access to the rental is via keypad lock. We will be in touch in the week prior to your stay with the code. Other things to note A basic cable package is provided. If you would like to upgrade the cable package please contact us prior to your stay. A house phone is available but is set up with emergency-only outgoing calls. You may, however, receive unlimited incoming calls. We will provide the house number to give to anyone you may be expecting calls from during your stay. Unfortunately, cellular service may not be available. Cellular connections are available a short distance from the house and also in town.
