Perched on Humboldt Bay, the majestic, historic home was built in 1889 by lumber magnate William Carson as a wedding gift for his son J. Milton Carson and his wife Mary Amelia (Bell) Carson. William lived across the street in the renowned Carson mansion, considered one of the grandest Victorian homes in America. The J. Milton Carson House, locally known as “The Pink Lady” over the years, is crowned in iconic, ornamental, Victorian features. The space Be our guest! The 133-year old mansion has been meticulously restored, but with the modern luxuries of today’s life. While you’re staying in The Pinc Lady Mansion, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the home. There’s so much to do! As you step out the door to walk down to Humboldt Bay (only steps away), you’ll stroll past our neighbor, the Carson Mansion, right across the street! While staying at The Pinc, you can visit the magnificent Redwood National and State Parks, a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage site. You can also wander through the Sequoia Park Garden, Sequoia Park Zoo, Old Town Eureka, hike the Lost Coast Trail, and take a scenic drive along the Redwood Highway. At the end of the day, the Pinc Lady Mansion guest rooms are the perfect place to relax and unwind in the evening. Guest access The basement and attic are currently closed for renovations, the main living areas are all available. Other things to note ***Since the Pinc is a historical landmark, there are strict policies that all guests must adhere to, a good guest book will be given upon arrival, or can be requested in advance.*** The Pinc Lady Mansion is meant to accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 large and luxurious bedrooms. A trundle bed to accommodate 2 extra guests may be added at the rate of $50 per guest per night. A refundable damage deposit of 25% of the total stay rate will be taken upon arrival
