Tidewater Beach Resort is a gorgeous full service resort full of amenities. There are 2 oversized lagoon style outdoor pools on other end of the building connected by a long boardwalk that also takes you through the private resort gate to the beach. There is a minimart and ice cream shop called Flip Flops market at the west end pool, and a full service Tiki bar at the east side pool. They have a Shave Ice station and lunch service during the summer. The first floor hosts a great casual restaurant called Waves. You can call ahead and simply do carryout. If you want to grill, just bring meat and charcoal to use in our convenient grilling area next to the east pool. There are 2 outdoor and 2 indoor spas, all with a view of the water! You will find a fully furnished fitness center with locker rooms, steam room, and sauna for post workout relaxation. There is is even a movie theater that shows free family friendly movies several times a week in summer. Truly something for everyone! No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. 5. This rental unit is located on the 15th Floor. ELEVATOR NOTES: 1. Elevator wait times may be extremely slow on average of 40 minutes. Suggestions include bringing only essentials that does not require luggage cart and then wait until 7 PM or 8PM to use luggage cart to bring the rest of the luggage PARKING NOTES: 1. Parking spaces aren't dedicated. 2. Parking garage is located across the street from building. There is a code required to access the parking garage (this is your gate code). 3. There is a skybridge on level 2 that will take you across the street to the main building. After crossing the sky bridge, go to the visitor desk located on the ground floor. This is where you can pick up your parking passes (max of 2 per unit). You will also receive wristbands that will give you access to onsite amenities with your parking pass. 4. Watercraft, trailers, campers, motor homes, buses or other oversized vehicles are not allowed parked on-premises. No vehicle exceeding 7ft2in height is allowed in the garage. FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL: 1. Pickups with extended beds, extended cabs, dual wheels, and equipped with tow bars and extended rear luggage carriers are to park in the north side rear of the garage. 2. Roof luggage carriers must be removed before entering the garage. Rental golf carts, scooters, and bubble cars are not authorized to park in the garage or porte-cochere and are subject to tow at renter’s expense. KITCHEN FOOD SUPPLIES ***We do not supply coffee or other food supplies because we cannot guarantee the freshness so please make sure to bring some of your favorites. Communication will mainly be via the AirBnB app. The purpose is so that all communication is documented in the event of any disputes. We are the homeowners as well as managers of the unit so you have our full attention when it comes to issues. Tidewater Beach Resort is located 3/4 mile from Pier Park, a renowned outdoor complex that hosts 124 stores, a variety of restaurants, a Grand IMAX movie theater, the Panama City Beach Skywheel, and the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater. There is plenty of other family-friendly attractions in the area, including the Russell-Fields Pier (3/4 miles east), Gulf World (1 mile east), Shipwreck Island Waterpark (4 miles east), and Ripley's Believe It or Not! (6 miles east). The Bay Town Trolley provides public bus transportation. The trolley route includes major shopping centers, hospitals and transportation to Panama City Beach. Southern Greyhound provides intercity bus transportation. The Bay Town Trolley, which runs to West, Middle, and East beaches and costs $1.50 per journey. Day passes cost $4, while one-month passes are $35. **Prices are subject to change. Panama City Beach seafront is packed with stores and boutiques, and it's definitely worth walking the length of the promenade if you love window shopping. There are beach apparel stores like Alvin's Island, souvenir vendors like Heron Fine Gifts and a range of surf stalls at the Beach House Market. For malls and major stores, head to nearby Panama City, where locations like the Panama City Mall feature chains like American Eagle Outfitters and J.C. Penney. During your stay, shopping for groceries won't be a problem, with local supermarkets including Publix and Walmart nearby. RESERVATION - MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT - 25 - NO EXCEPTIONS. This is per HOA rules. Valid ID is required upon check in. FRIENDLY NOTE: Please be advised, guests will be required to provide government ID at the check-in desk. Booking guests unable to provide ID for verification, will be turned away as per HOA in-house policy. REGISTRATION NOTE: Guests will need to REGISTER at website link provided after booking is confirmed. All guests will need to register at the website provided below and pay guest resort fees for the wristbands and parking passes. We recommend that all guests pre-register before arrival so that the front desk will have a wristbands and parking passes available and ready upon your arrival. Fees are as follows: Pre-registration fee - 24hours advance - $ 37.50 (includes tax). Late registration, less than 24 hours - $48.15. Upon check-out, guests must return all wristbands to the resort (Visitor’s desk on the second floor). There is a $25 fee for lost/stollen wrist band. Registration will need to be completed prior to arrival. Person making reservation will required to provide proof of age during check-in (minimum age 25 yr old) ***Florida has an abundance of naturally appearing wild life. Florida's warm and humid climate creates a breeding ground for many animals and pest insects: lizards, geckos, ants, palmetto bug, mosquitoes, and more and occasionally some insects may fly in when a front door or balcony door are open just like a fly would seeking water or shelter. Although annoying, they provide food for other insects and animals. Please check and be familiar with Florida Wild Life before visiting.
