The space Living Room & Kitchen The open-concept living room is anchored by a stone fireplace (now electric) and a 65” Smart TV—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The kitchen and dining area feature stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee bar, and all the essentials for creating favorite meals and sharing time together. Bedrooms & Bathrooms Primary Suite: King bed, adjustable standing desk, full bathroom with bathtub and shower, and ample closet space. Bedroom 2: Queen bed with closet space. Bedroom 3: Full bed plus access to washer and dryer. Bathroom 2: Located in the hallway and includes a walk-in shower. Outdoor Spaces • The spacious back porch features a propane BBQ grill, outdoor dining area, and propane fire table. A private hot tub and small yard offer space to relax, while the surrounding woods and birdsong create a true retreat atmosphere. Guest access Guests will have full access to the cabin and yard, but will not have access to the locked workshop area (separate structure). Other things to note 📕 Property Guide • Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed digital property guide highlighting the area’s best wineries, hiking trails, restaurants, and outdoor adventures—along with helpful property information and FAQs to make your stay effortless. 🚗 Vehicle Access • The final stretch of road leading to Skyland Hideaway is unpaved but well maintained. Most of the year, 2WD vehicles can access the property without issue. During winter or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD is recommended. 📶 Connectivity • The cabin offers high-speed WiFi suitable for streaming, remote work, and video calls. Cell service can be limited in the mountains, but once connected to WiFi, you’ll stay reliably online. 🐶 Pets • Up to two dogs are permitted per stay; please include them in your reservation so the system can apply the pet fee automatically. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis with an added cleaning fee. ESAs are treated as pets under the same policy, while service animals are always welcome—please notify us in advance so we can prepare accordingly. 🚼 Family-Friendly Amenities • While designed for both couples and families, Skyland Hideaway comfortably accommodates small groups traveling with children. A Pack ’n Play crib and full-sized highchair are provided for your convenience. 🧯 Safety & Cleanliness • All bedding, quilts, and blankets are washed between every reservation. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout, and fire extinguishers are placed on each level. Flashlights and lanterns are also provided in case of the rare power outage. 🦌 Wildlife & Setting • Nestled in the quiet Skyland Estates community, Skyland Hideaway offers a peaceful natural setting where deer, foxes, and wild turkeys often wander by. As with most homes in the mountains, small critters or insects may occasionally appear—part of the authentic mountain experience. 🌸 Special Requests & Celebrations • Celebrating something special? We offer curated add-ons such as flowers, champagne, and custom décor to make your stay memorable.
