The space Decorated with original and unique pieces,. Each piece has been lovingly collected from Miv’s travels. The furniture was sourced personally by Miv from Rajasthan.. Each piece is either antique or carved by hand. Textiles and Art are original , many bought from French antique markets or designed and made in Jaipur. This house has an eclectic appeal influenced by a travelling and observant life. Miv's homes have been featured in many glossy journals. This is more of a home than a holiday house. Welcome to our World. Four delightful bedrooms, two Kingsize and two Queen size beds. A single bed tucked in a nook for a little person.Linen or Egyptian cotton sheets (we don't do Polyester!) Two wonderful , original free standing baths, original wooden floors , natural fibre rugs and quilts, linen sheets and antique colonial furniture from Rajasthan. Tv, stereo, internet and wood burner and central heating make this space a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Set on 15 acres of meadows and woodland, with abundant wildlife, wonderful walks, fresh eggs for breakfast and 10 minutes from Lake Uby where you can hike canoe and fish . For Armagnac lovers the well renowned Chateau Aubin is also a quick ten minutes away. You may arrange a tour of the cellars, and for wine lovers the fabulous Uby winery is perched above the lake. Markets are many and interesting, brocante stores supply vintage and antique delights for those interested in hunter gathering. Eauze market is on Thursday mornings and for an historic and colourful experience Nerac market is every Saturday morning. From Nerac (a 45min journey) one can take a boat along the river to Agen. We don't think you will want to dip into city life but should you decide to visit either Bordeaux or Toulouse while not exactly on the doorstep, a two hour journey with find you at either. Auch cathedral is very worth a visit and not forgetting Barbotan Thermal Baths another ten minute journey. The Chateau Hotel Bellvue has a wonderful Spa. Guest access From the gravel chemin, continue onto the white road and pull up in front of the Manor House. Ring the big bell. Other things to note Please take your rubbish to the bins provided by the water tower. Empty bottles must go to the glass dispensers next to Inter Marche in Cazaubon. Please do not use chemicals or put anything but loo paper in the toilets.
