The River House is conveniently located just 28 minutes from Perfect North Slopes, 12 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, 27 minutes from the Creation Museum, 38 minutes from The Ark Encounter, and 10 minutes from CVG airport. Inside the home, guests can relax and unwind in the beautifully decorated living areas. Take in the panoramic river views from the wrap-around porch, or enjoy a movie night in the cozy living room. The property also features four immaculate bedrooms, including a bunk room that sleeps ten, three brand-new bathrooms, and a modern kitchen. The River House boasts a rustic barn with a half-pipe, ping pong table, and stage for entertainment. Please note that a waiver must be signed if the barn is used. If you would rather not have your kids enticed by the barn, you can leave it locked for your whole stay. There is a state-protected bird sanctuary adjacent to the property. Stroll through the sanctuary's shady path to visit a riverfront beach owned by the state of Kentucky. Please note that the Ohio River is an active commercial waterway. Every day the river deposits some "gifts" (aka- debris and often trash) and removes others. As this is state-owned land, we do not patrol or clean the beach or woods; we are not responsible for its maintenance or for any activity on that property. Guests will have access to the entire house, the parking area, the yard, the fire pit, and the barn.
