Set in the heart of Bethel and just 8 minutes from Sunday River, this modern, spa-inspired one-bedroom is your base for both adventure and rest. There is even a NACS off-peak EV charger for your electric vehicle! 🛏 Bedroom - Spacious KING-size bed with crisp, cozy linens - Bedside Outlets - Dedicated workspace with a desk, lamp, and convenient outlets for all your devices 🛋 Living Room - Comfortable sofa that easily converts into a QUEEN-size sleeper, with bedding tucked neatly in the chaise - 65” Smart TV (streaming apps like Netflix included, cable not provided) - Warm ventless fireplace for cozy evenings in - Dining table with seating for four - NEW: After guest feedback, we added blinds on lower-level windows for better nighttime privacy 🥘 Kitchen Designed with home cooks in mind, the kitchen is fully stocked for preparing everything from quick breakfasts to hearty dinners. Inspired by our own love for cooking while traveling, you’ll find: - All essential cookware, utensils, and serving pieces - A fondue pot for fun, shareable meals - Cookbooks highlighting Maine cuisine and foraging-inspired recipes 🚿 Bathroom One of our favorite features of the home! - Double vanity with two mirrors so two guests can get ready comfortably - Separate door dividing vanity and shower/toilet areas for extra convenience - Rainfall-style shower in a 30x30 stall for a spa-like experience 🎲 Extras for Relaxation - Board games and cards for cozy nights in - Two yoga mats, perfect for stretching in the sunlight that pours through the windows 📍 Location Highlights 📍 We think you’ll love this spot as much as we do: - 1 minute to Bethel Village (by car, or 5–10 minutes on foot) for restaurants, a small grocery, and the Saturday farmers market - Directly on the Bethel Snowmobile Trail with ample trailer parking for easy trail access - 8 minutes to Sunday River & 10 minutes to Mount Abram - world-class skiing right nearby - Easy year-round access from Route 2 , one of the first roads plowed on powder days (note: traffic noise is likely) - Across from Dollar General & next door to CVS for quick last-minute essentials - 18 minutes to Grafton Notch State Park & 30 minutes to White Mountain National Forest — endless hiking, exploring, and views Guest access You'll have access to one half of a duplex. The duplex is L shaped so there is only one wall that is shared between the two houses and that is heavily insulated to help limit any noise disturbances. You have complete access to the "back" house which consists of an open living room/kitchen/dining room along with a bathroom and a bedroom. Outside, we have a firepit that accommodates up to 8 guests, but please note it is first come first serve and we have two units on property which means it could be unavailable to use during your stay, or you may need to enjoy the fireplace with other guests. No firewood is provided. Other things to note Other things you may want to know are listed below: - There are stairs up to the front door of the unit (approximately two steps) along with a step into the bathroom and small 4 step staircase into the bedroom. - We are located directly off of Route 2. While this makes it incredibly convenient to get to all the major attractions nearby (i.e. being located off the first road to get cleared on POW days to Sunday River is an incredibly beneficial thing!), it also also means you will likely hear traffic noise. The house is located towards the back so the road noise during the day is muted and at night it's virtually unnoticeable (especially considering there is minimal traffic at night) but this is something we just want to mention. - We are located adjacent to a local gas station though there is a house separating us, but this is just something we'd like you to know prior to booking. - In the winter we can not guarantee with 100% certainty that the driveway will be plowed first thing in the morning or after a storm. We will leave a snow shovel out for you to use in case you need to get out earlier than our plower can get in. If you know a major snowstorm is coming we'd also appreciate if you moved your car off to the side the night before so our plower can plow and also avoid plowing you in. - There is no washer/dryer in the home, but the nearest laundromat is just a minute away which should make doing any wash relatively painless during your stay. - EV Charger: The EV Charger is first come first serve and shared with another Airbnb on property.
