We recently purchased this second home with the dream of hosting families who are visiting the wonderful Sunriver area. We’ve strived to make the home an inviting and comfortable place to stay. It’s equipped with everything your family needs for a fun and relaxing vacation. And if you have dogs, good news is they stay free! We’re looking forward to welcoming you to this home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d want: a crock pot, blender, toaster, griddle, tea kettle, cooking utensils, and Keurig coffee maker - plus a dishwasher. Eat your tasty meals at the large dining table, then cozy up after dinner on the reclining leather sofa while the wood-burning woodstove crackles. Or bring dinnertime outside and take advantage of the gas BBQ and picnic tables in the secluded backyard. There’s also a hot tub on an enclosed deck where you can take in the starry nights and views of nature. The master suite has a king bed and a private entrance to the back deck. The second bedroom also has a comfy king bed as well as a TV with cable. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, dressers, and luggage racks. There’s an additional rollaway twin bed in the master closet. In the upstairs loft, there’s a bunk bed with a twin and a full-size mattress. With a flat-screen TV and bean bag chairs, it’s a haven for the kids. After a day of adventuring in the outdoors, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your time with your family in the home: you’ll find a classic Playstation 3, DVD players with a large movie selection, a foosball table, and a self-scoring air hockey table, plus puzzles and board games. The AC, thermostat, furnace, and water heater are all new. There’s also a washer and dryer for you to use, equipped with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The area: Just grab a bike from the garage and hop on the bike path that runs behind the house - it’ll take you to lakes and parks, as well as SHARC, Fort Rock Park, the Nature Center, and the Village. During the summer, the nearby lakes are great for fishing, swimming, and stand-up paddleboarding. There are also plenty of trails for hiking. For winter activities, Mt. Bachelor is 20 miles away and great for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and sledding. Cascade Lakes Highway is often closed due to snow, making it a great place for snowmobiling. The Village at Sunriver offers stores for shopping and restaurants for when you want a break from cooking. You can also check out the Oregon Observatory for a quiet night of stargazing. We’ve included 6 SHARC passes for you to enjoy. They’ll grant you access to the water park, indoor pool, workout facility, and winter tubing slides. Other things to note: Dogs are welcome, but please bring no more than two. The Sunriver SHARC center has implemented new rules and regulations regarding occupancy, amenities, and access. Please see their website for more details. 2 cars can park in the driveway. No parking on the street at any time. RV parking in driveway ok for 48 hours. The hot tub lights do not work at this time.
