Our renovated carriage house studio is located in one of DC's best neighborhoods, just two blocks from bustling 14th Street (Logan Circle), 17th Street (Dupont Circle), and U Street. It's close to downtown DC with the White House about a mile away and the National Mall close by! 14th Street is a two-minute walk and offers the best restaurants, bars, and shops in DC. Our studio is the perfect location for visiting friends, sightseeing, and exploring all that DC has to offer. The second-floor studio comes equipped with a queen-sized bed, desk with chair, lounge chair, and dining table with two chairs. There is also a 50" smart TV. The kitchenette has a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, hot plate, Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, and cooking and dining supplies. It does not have an oven or a dishwasher. The studio has several windows, A/C and heat, a ceiling fan, ample closet space, and a combo washer & dryer. The full bathroom is in a separate room. We provide a free parking permit that is valid for nearby street parking marked as Zone 2. There is no private/garage parking available. You access the carriage house studio via the alley behind our home. You enter through our garage by entering a garage door code. The studio is on the second floor. We live in the row house in front of the carriage house and accessed by the courtyard. You may see us entering or exiting the garage. The carriage house studio is in DC's most popular neighborhood! It is located near Logan Circle, Dupont Circle, and U street. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and stores within a couple of blocks. For the streets closest to the carriage house, we can provide you a free parking permit that allows you to park nearby in all areas marked as Zone 2B parking. In order to receive a permit, please send us the following: 1) license plate #, 2) license plate state, 3) car make, and 4) car color. We will print you a copy of the permit that you can leave on your dashboard. Please note that the parking permit is only valid on the surrounding streets and is not valid in all of DC. Please pay close attention to street sweeping signs to avoid tickets. Also, while the carriage house is located in one of DC’s safest neighborhoods, please do not leave anything visible in your car. For public transportation, nearby there are bus stops, two metro/subway stations, multiple Capital Bikeshare stations, rentable electric scooters & bikes, and plenty of Ubers/Lyfts/taxis. It's also a very walkable area with ample street parking. Guests enter through the garage door. From inside of the garage, the studio has a steeper than normal staircase to enter and exit. The stairwell has a handrail and is well lit. Please do not use the courtyard. Please do not touch items in the garage.
