Each is equipped with a Smart TV with streaming services for your convenience ~ • The Moose Lodge: This comfortable queen bedroom with sleigh bed on the main level is adjacent to a full bathroom. • The Log Cabin: This fun bedroom with log bunk beds (twin and full bed), also on the main level, accesses that same full bathroom. The closet is full of helpful baby and toddler items AND there’s an arcade game in this room as well! • The Secret Garden: Upstairs, an airy and expansive master suite awaits featuring a California King bed with brand new mattress and tempur-pedic mattress topper, huge walk-in closet, sofa, dedicated workspace, additional full bathroom and private balcony! === Bathrooms === The property hosts 2 full bathrooms. Features of both include a tub, hair dryer, plush towels and spa quality amenities. === Main Level/Kitchen/Dining Room === Upon entering the main level, you will be greeted by a cozy living room with vaulted pine ceilings, brick gas fireplace and a floor to ceiling glass wall A-Frame with ample light and gorgeous views of the surrounding forest. The main level also hosts a well-appointed kitchen that flows into the dining and living areas with granite counters and all new stainless appliances. Enjoy the kitchen bar seating for four which opens up to a farmhouse dining room table that seats 6. Then, step out onto the deck and enjoy the fresh, crisp mountain air and the sights and sounds of nature including Lake Arrowhead’s famed Blue Jays! === Outdoor Living Space === Placing an equal emphasis on outdoor living, the lake house features a large, forested yard with lots of room to roam and a spacious deck with forest view. The deck features seating, a grill, festive lighting and a bird feeder. Seeds are provided for birds and other wildlife who visit frequently. There's an access road directly behind the house that makes for a great walking path too! Guests also enjoy walking around the neighborhood as it's a very peaceful environment with beautiful views. === Home Entertainment === Fox Run Lake House is home entertainment rich. Featuring Wi-Fi, (4) Hi-Def TV's with Apple Air Play, Nest Digital Thermostats and Keyless Entry. Streaming services are available with your own accounts. For guests desiring classic family entertainment, there are ample board games and books. === Small Details === The property has everything expected from a well-equipped vacation home. The newly updated kitchen is complete with high quality cookware, utensils and gadgets to make your own meals. Olive oil, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, and pepper are provided. Microwave, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, toaster and hot water kettle are available. We also provide coffee, hot chocolate, Lake Arrowhead water, popcorn and an extensive selection of tea! And if you'd like to grill, we've got you covered. The bathrooms are well stocked with plush towels and spa quality toiletries. Extra blankets, laundry, iron/ironing board are all available for use. Decorative flameless candles are placed throughout the home. Enjoy the ease and warmth of a gas fireplace while watching your favorite shows on smart apps such as Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Fast wifi connection is available if you're working remotely. NOTE: From mid-May through October, air conditioning window units are installed in the main living/kitchen/dining area and in the upstairs master suite. The two downstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans and tend to stay cool as they are located in the back of the house. We also recommend opening the windows at night since it cools down considerably in the evening! Guest access All of it! You have access to the entire house and surrounding yard. The cabin is setup to be your home away from home. You will not have to navigate steep, narrow mountain roads to get to the lake house *however* the driveway is steep and an SUV is recommended. Guests have access to the entire home and keyless entry with code for both the front door and garage is provided prior to arrival date. The 2-car garage with driveway for additional parking provides easy access to stairs accessing the main level. Max Parking is 4 cars. Street parking is prohibited! Other things to note === About The Lake === Great ways to enjoy lake views are by visiting MacKay Park or Lake Arrowhead Village for shopping, fun and views. If you would like to actually get on the lake you can do so by taking a ride on the Arrowhead Queen River Boat or reserving with McKenzie Water Ski School, both in the Village. Lake Gregory, a public lake, is also located just a 15 minute drive away in Crestline and features kayaking, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, pedal boats, duffy boats and an inflatable water park! **NEW - LAKE ACCESS** Fox Run is a member of the Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) and a law was recently passed that will allow our short term renters to access the TRAILS surrounding the lake! There are also entry points along the lake to jump in!! This is a special bonus as the lake is a private lake and closed to the public unless the host has lake rights via the ALA. Once you book with us, we'll reach out to ask for the first and last names and email addresses of all guests over 18 staying at the cabin. We will then input that information into the ALA system and you'll receive an electronic waiver to sign via email. Please be sure to scroll down and sign both pages! Once you do that...you're all set to hit the trails!! NOTE: We recommend either biking or driving to the closest lake access point as it would be a long walk to get there. Guests must carry the Fox Run Lake House ALA Membership/RFID card at all times as it grants gate access for the trails surrounding the lake. This card is hanging in the kitchen at the lake house next to a QR code with detailed instructions. **Unreturned RFID card to the house will generate a $75 processing fee per card** NOTE: The ALA is providing updated information weekly as this new law goes into effect. Changes to the law that may occur after booking are out of our control but we will provide the latest information upon booking. === FYI === Fox Run Lake House is a wonderful retreat that our family loves to spend time in and we hope to share with our guests. You can take a hike in the nearby mountains, work from home while experiencing nature, take a quick drive to nearby restaurants, or drive up the hill to do some mountain biking or snowboarding. Please be respectful of all neighbors. Noise travels easily in the mountains & we ask that our guests be respectful of the full-time residents that live nearby. Fox Run Lake House is in the woods...that means dirt in the summer and snow in the winter. Please be mindful of wet/dirty shoes when coming inside. We recommend bringing slippers to get your cozy on! === ITEMS TO NOTE BEFORE RESERVING === • We are committed to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol; our home is professionally cleaned between every stay. Please take your trash bags to the bin in the garage before leaving and leave the kitchen as you found it. Our professional cleaning crew will do the rest! • Only guests on the ORIGINAL booking are allowed to stay at the lake house. Our minimum age requirement for renters is 25 years. *If you plan to have visitors at the house during your stay, please advise the hosts prior to your stay* • Access will be provided via personalized keycodes that will activate before check-in and deactivate at check-out. • Free WiFi is available throughout the house! The password is located in the welcome guide. • This property is ideal for couples or 1-2 families, and comfortably sleeps 6 people. This is not a party house, and quiet hours (10pm-9am) are expected to be maintained while on the property as it is in a residential area. We respect our neighbors and they in turn are respectful to the guests we host. • This is a smoke-free and pet-free property. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of $300 and you will be held responsible for any and all damage caused. To clarify, even pets that are "visiting" and not staying overnight are in violation of our house rules and the additional cleaning fee still applies. • This property features security cameras in the parking areas. Video footage is recorded for liability reasons in case of break-ins. Cameras are present to verify the # of guests arriving, to ensure your security during your stay, to confirm no pets are being brought onto the premises and to protect the property during vacancies. **This house is permitted by law for a max occupancy of 6 people. It is illegal for more than 6 people to reside at the house** San Bernardino County has codes that are strictly enforced. Be sure to abide by the maximum occupancy number for the home at ALL times.
