The area’s legendary mountain bike trails are only a 15-minute pedal or a five-minute drive away We are a rural setting surrounded by 5 acres of land. If a rural setting is not something you're comfortable with, this Cherry Valley Studio Guest Cottage may not be your best choice. AND, although we attempt to keep our Cottages immaculate, you May See a Bug! We pay $150 housekeeping fee for cleaning between every guests arrival.. We try to stay away from poisons on the property and do our best to use organic ways to keep the country critters at bay, but once in awhile they will pack up and try to move in! So if an earwig sneaks in, just send him/her back out the door! 😊🏡🌻 You may also hear coyote at night, plus our rooster, in addition to the local roosters, who love to greet the day. We've been known to have a bobcat or two roam around at night.  We have horned owls who sometimes hoot their songs during the night. All these things are just part of the charm of being away from the city and enjoying our peaceful piece of paradise. We have enjoyed 99.9% five star ratings since opening in 2008, so we hope that you will be a part of the 99.9% and love our little Cottages as much as others have! The Studio Cottage features three spaces: one 20' x 16' room which includes a queen-size bed (this is the only bed in the Studio, although we do have an air mattress/bedding/pump if requested), double seating recliner, coffee table, single recliner, desk/chair, garden window, French doors going out to covered deck, French door to breezeway, AT&T DirecTV/Toshiba Smart TV (please note that the TV does offer Netflix, HBO max, Disney +, hundreds of free movies and TV shows, etc for guests that may have these services and want to sign into personal accounts (be sure to sign out upon your departure!); and complimentary Frontier Wi-Fi (75/75) with optional wall mounted ethernet plug for direct connection to the router; second room is a fully-equipped recently renovated brand new kitchen (refrigerator, propane stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, dishes, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, etc.); and third room is bathroom with shower/tub, fully-equipped with towels, bath wash, shampoo & conditioner. There is a small closet with hangers, iron + board, and lastly, a private covered deck, with seating, near your private parking spot at Cottage entrance Your stay includes a complimentary, self-served first-day breakfast selection which MAY include some or all of: our own farm-fresh pasture-raised eggs, butter, fresh coffee, plus cream. We do not have central heat or air in this Studio Cottage. We do have a mounted ventless propane wall heater, and two floor heaters which are used during the winter; and window air conditioner which cools the entire Cottage for the summer months. Please note that we are a rural setting, at the foothills of the San Gorgonio mountains, surrounded by 5 acres of land. If a rural setting is not something you're comfortable with, this Cherry Valley Cottage may not be your best choice. Although we attempt to keep our Cottages immaculate, you May See a Bug! Thank you for your understanding! CLEANING FEE: No Cleaning Fee Charged to Guests (currently.. ) and if you check other listings I'm sure you will find this very rare in this industry. The Guest Cottage is cleaned, at $150 between each Guest: fresh linens/towels, floors mopped, bathrooms, etc. I have had a hand-full of guests who have not treated the Cottage as it deserves (even though they left awesome reviews of how much they loved it!) and I do not want to charge a cleaning fee to my guests as this website has its own fees they have to charge over and above what I receive... so thank you for your consideration regarding this issue! If Cottage is left in disarray - dirty dishes, pup fur on furniture, trash left strewn, food all over the counters, etc., we will charge a $79 fee from guest deposit. Guest access Entire property. Other things to note If you are bringing your pup with you, and ONLY if agreed upon with Host before secured reservation, and pet is added to the reservation with the fee paid, note that I am also a 5-stay Super Host at Sniffspot, a website where locals rent their yards and private land to dog owners, and in our case, the pups can run free, supervised by owner, unleashed in our fully enclosed one acre field right behind the Guest Cottage. If you wish to utilize this space during your stay, please let me know at least a day in advance and I will insure it is blocked for your use, free of charge to my booked guests! 10089 Fabulous Furry Family Members/Pup Policy: I do allow pups, however, there are a few requests regarding our Fabulous Furry Friends! I ask that guests please bring their own pet supplies: crate, bedding, toys, sheets, food/water bowls, and a rag to clean paws before entering the home to insure outside debris does not become a permanent part of the inside décor! Things can be cleaned, but we all want to have a pleasant experience out of this mutually agreed upon arrangement - and we ask that our Furry Friends do not jump up on the furniture, beds, chairs, etc. and that they use their own bedding. If you find it absolutely necessary to have pets on the furniture/beds, please cover all furniture with your own sheets. If you plan on being away from the Studio Guest Cottage without your pet, please bring your own pup crate as to ensure the safety of your pet and the property during your absence. Thank you for your understanding! We Love pups!! We have a Siberian Husky, and an Alaskan Malamute!! so we know about Fabulous Furry Family Members! Please pick up all pet waste daily, bag it, tie tight, and place outside of your Guest Cottage to dry out, then deposit in the black waste container out front at the main Cottage driveway.
