The space Creaky Cottage is a stunning holiday cottage, located in the hamlet of Chebbard and close to the quaint and attractive villages of Cheselbourne, Melcombe Bingham, Ansty and Dewlish. The cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends gathering together for holidays and special occasions, with plenty of space for everyone. Wonderfully styled with high quality and tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, and Hungarian goose down duvets and pillows for a further touch of luxury. On the ground floor is an attractive sitting room with a wood burning stove, leading through to a family room with a second wood burning stove and Smart television. The property has a generous open-plan kitchen with Aga, and dining room with french doors that lead out to the wrap-around stone terrace and wonderful surrounding garden. There is a useful entrance porch and boot room, a utility/laundry room, and a ground floor bathroom. On the first floor are four well-appointed bedrooms, all with views over the beautiful garden and landscape, along with two generous walk-in shower rooms. Creaky Cottage is ideally placed for countryside walks, and with numerous quaint villages within a short drive, there is plenty to explore within the area. The towns of Dorchester, Blandford, Sherborne, Shaftesbury, Wareham and Wimborne are all within easy reach. The glorious Jurassic Coast, including famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door is just a short drive away, making the property perfectly situated for enjoying all of the delights of Dorset. First Floor: Bedroom one With a 6' super-king size zip and link bed which can be split into twin 3' single beds upon request. Bedroom two With twin 3' single zip and link beds which can be zipped together into a 6' super-king size bed upon request. Bedroom three With a 5' king-size bed and built-in wardrobe. Bedroom four With a 5' king-size bed and built-in wardrobe. Family shower room With a large walk-in shower enclosure, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. Outside: The property sits in an idyllic rural location surrounded by an extensive well-maintained garden which includes large lawned areas and mature shrubs and trees. There is a large stone terrace running across the front of the cottage, extending around to the rear and both sides of the cottage. A good quality charcoal barbecue is available. The first bag of charcoal is provided. A large teak dining table and chairs for eight guests sits on the front terrace.
