Located beside a 12th century church, Biblical Garden Stomorija was built 21 years ago in honour of the pope's visit to the country. The garden is a lovely and peaceful place where plants, trees and Biblical sculptures are combined to create something truly distinctive. The sculptures are created by famous Croatian artists. The garden is home to a variety of flourishing plants and flowers including herbs, spices, acacia and laurel as well as apple, olive and fig trees. Situated in the hills, the setting is perfect for clearing your head and enjoying beautiful art and nature simultaneously in the wonderful and fresh outdoors. Malacka Lookout is also in Kaštel Novi and provides an alternative perspective of your surroundings. The lookout is accessible by car and possesses vistas over Split, Kaštela, Trogir and Solin. Malacka is a welcome escape from crowds of locals and tourists and is also home to a memorial filled with crosses. The memorial is dedicated to the lives lost during the Homeland War.
