Classic Southwest Condo 15 minutes to Taos Ski Valley This home is well located between Taos Ski Valley and Taos (15 minute drive), just a couple minutes drive to the artisan village of Arroyo Seco. It is situated overlooking the Rio Hondo river valley, a major recreation corridor which extends from Taos Ski Valley and many amazing National Forest trails, and fly and spin fishing, to the Rio Grande. An avid hiker, biker, fisher or runner would find no lack of entertainment in this area. Great dining, shopping, and cultural attractions abound as well in Arroyo Seco, Taos, and Taos Ski Valley. Guests will have access to the whole place. We value our guests privacy but we are here if you need us. Located in a beautiful neighborhood on a hillside, guests must drive up the dirt driveway, and AWD or 4WD is REQUIRED in winter as conditions may be snowy or icy. Being on the border of the National Forest, this is a beautiful place full of wildlife and plants with several community outdoor spaces and a big back yard area (ask if you have kids and need to get them outside as the location of this area may not be obvious). The area is residential, the condo occupants are both long term and short term renters and as such please be respectful of all neighbors by keeping noise levels appropriate for such a community. You will want a car staying here to easily get to local attractions and activities. 4WD/AWD necessary in winter.
