The space We thank you for your interest in Amazing Acorn, which is in the majestic mountains of Diamond Point and is part of the charming Bolton Landing. Our goal is to give you and your family a place to gather, make lasting memories, and enjoy the outdoors year after year! We offer the BEST of both worlds by being within walking distance of the secluded Trout Lake, where you’ll have access to a remote lake known for its high volume of lake and rainbow trout (don’t forget the bait!). Trout Lake is about 254 acres, with a max depth of 75 feet, a shore length of about 3.7 miles, and a 50-horsepower motor limit on this lake. Trout Lake is less than a .25 mile down a Private drive from our home. We have a small sandy beach area (deeded lake rights), a fire pit, and a shallow entrance to Trout Lake access for swimming, kayaking, fishing, floating, etc. We have a convenient, private parking lot directly next to our beach if you rather drive back and forth. Less than 3 miles down the hill is the picturesque downtown Bolton Landing, where you will find two beaches, marinas, The Sagamore, shops, and pubs. You can enjoy various activities, from boating, paddle boarding, jet skiing, or dip in the clear blue water. Once you and your family have an appetite, you’ll have plenty of nearby dining options. We are 20 minutes to Lake George Village, Outlet shopping & Six Flags Great Escape. We are 30 minutes to GORE Mountain, WEST Mountain & 40 minutes to The Saratoga Racetrack. Our home is two floors with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and about 1,525 square feet of living space. It is perfect for one or two families and sleeps 8-10 comfortably in beds (6 adults max). Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. Amazing Acorn is fully equipped, so you can pack your bags and visit! We have a large Smart TV in the family room, super reliable Wi-Fi powered by 200M High-Speed Internet, home phone, and cable TV services, all protected by an automatic 22kw Generac generator. We provide sheets, blankets, bath towels, a washer, a dryer, laundry detergent, a Weber 4-burner gas grill on our paver patio, dishes, pots, pans, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, garbage bags, chopped firewood, a traditional coffee maker and Keurig, extra Air Mattress, dish, and hand soap. We even have items you might have forgotten, such as spices, hand sanitizer, beach towels/chairs, condiments, pumps for inflatables, life vests, snow sleds, etc. We can’t forget to mention our games and sports equipment such as “Kan Jam” " corn hole, bocce ball, volleyball, small kids slide in the bunk bedroom, wiffleball, paddleball, badminton, two kayaks with paddles (10 & 12 ft.), tubes, etc. Guest access Guests have full private access to the entire home. The house is the only residence on the property, offering a quiet and secluded setting with excellent privacy. Private on-site parking is included, and there are no shared indoor spaces. The property also includes deeded lake rights to Trout Lake, providing access for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing by the water. The lake access is shared with one other family, who rarely uses it as they have a separate private beach. The beach is a short walk from the home, and guests may also drive down and park directly near the lake, with private parking available adjacent to the beach for easy access. Other things to note We take great pride in providing a home that is meticulously clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked for our guests. The kitchen and home are fully equipped with everyday essentials to make your stay comfortable and easy, whether you’re here for a weekend or a full week. For added peace of mind, the property also features a 22kW whole-house automatic Generac generator, providing uninterrupted power during storms or unexpected outages.
