Sleeps 4-6, with heated indoor pool

Monktonmead Lodge is one of two lodges set in the grounds of Arethusa Cottage. It is within walking distance to Ryde town and beach, but in a secluded setting with no neighbours. It sleeps up to 6 people and has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower cubicle, and living space. Guests have use of a private heated indoor *pool (shared with one other lodge) and access to owners large garden. Both lodges offered with Arethusa Cottage Holiday Lodges are available to book together for up to 10 people. The space Lovely, stylish wooden lodge with private decking and BBQ. Monktonmead sleeps 2 people in a double room, 2 people in bunk room (adult size) and in addition, there are 2 mattresses at floor level in the eaves space (not suitable for the very young or the elderly). The lodge has a modern kitchen with induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave and plenty of storage. The living space is cosy with two sofas and a dining table seating 4-6. There is a smart TV. The bathroom has a shower cubicle (no bath), basin, loo and washing machine. Children are welcome (travel cot / highchair available on request). DISCOUNT OUT OF PEAK SEASON FOR 'COUPLES' (ie. 2 person occupancy) NOTE: Montkonmead Lodge is not suitable for those with restricted mobility due to steps from parking area to lodge. Guest access The lodge is in the owners garden with one other lodge. Guests have their own key to the 'site' and can come and go independently. Other things to note The garden is on a slope with steps down from the parking area (off road) and further steps down to the pool. The pool is available from February half term to October half term inclusive. It is open daytime and evenings and the water is heated. The pool is 9m x 5m and 1.1m to 1.5m deep. There is a large koi pond in the garden which guests may access (there is a choice of seating areas). The pond space is gated for safety.
