We are in the process of reforesting the property and have already planted 900 plus trees. Guests are welcome to explore the property and pick any fruit that are ripe! A map with details of the trees will be available, together with further information on the animals that visit the property. Please note - currently pig traps are set up on the property, guests are requested to stay clear of the traps and advise the caretaker if any animal is inside the trap. Do not approach any animal on the property! Other things to note No pets (cats & dogs) please. Please note, there is no mains power or mains water north of the Daintree River. The property runs on a small solar system and a rainwater and a bore water tank, therefore guests are requested to be mindful with power and water usage. Please don't use appliances that use a lot of power, e.g. hair dryer, shaver, blender. Should there be an extended period of overcast days, the generator might need to be run to top up the batteries. The water is potable, however a water filter is provided for convenience. There are security cameras monitoring the driveway and yard. There is good WiFi at the property, however there is no reliable phone reception (there is now patchy Telstra 5G and some Vodafone). Telstra WiFi calling works well. The closest reliable phone reception is in front of Crocodylus Village.
