Enjoy a carefree time with your family in our tranquil village of Frankenheim, located exactly at the three-country corner between Thuringia, Hesse and Bavaria. Until 1945, Frankenheim was a health resort and still offers a particularly mild mountain climate. With an altitude of 750 to 780 m above sea level, above sea level, Frankenheim is the highest village in the Rhön. Frankenheim is an ideal starting point for a variety of activities. The Rhön circular route 1 Frankenheim, which runs on the former patrol road of the inner German border, is practically right outside the front door. Not far away is the premium hiking trail "Der Hochrhöner", the Friedensweg, which deals with life on the former German-German border, and the Rhön-Rennsteig trail. Also recommended is the discovery trail, which connects many attractions and sights. Noah's sail on the Ellenbogen can be reached in just a few minutes. Here you can enjoy a unique view, and your children will enjoy the adventure slide there. Of course, a detour to the Wasserkuppe – the adventure mountain of the Rhön par excellence – is also worthwhile. During the cold season, you will find excellent opportunities for winter sports in the surrounding area. The Rhön is commonly known for its hospitality and good cuisine. In and around Frankenheim you will find many restaurants and inns where you can dine with your family. Our apartments are tastefully and cozily furnished and offer you comfort and coziness. They have fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes as well as bathrooms with shower and toilet. If needed, we can also set up a baby cot. This apartment has two bedrooms, in the 1st bedroom with a double bed, in the 2nd a double bed and a single bed, a living room with a pull-out double sofa bed, TV Smart TV with Netflix and other Internet programs. The kitchen consists of a fridge with freezer, dishwasher, kitchen sink, electric stove with oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, complete with dishes, cutlery, cooking pots, bowl... The bathroom with large shower, sink with contactless faucet, wall-mounted toilet, illuminated mirror. Bed linen and towels are provided. Internet guest Wi-Fi Just bring a good mood.
