Description

The Old Convent was built in 1842 originally as a church, St.Peters chapel. Converted to a convent in 1891 and known as St.Scholastica's Priory until 1922. We have lovingly renovated the building keeping a lot of original features but adding modern touches such as central heating and double glazing! The space No.2 is a ground floor one bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen, including oven and hob, full size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and all the utensils you might need. Iron, ironing board, clothes airer. The dining area then opens onto a spacious living area with 32"HDTV connected to Wi-Fi, DVD player, wood burning stove. We supply one basket of logs extra can be purchased for £6 per basket. Books, maps and information folder all provided. Free Wi-Fi. There are a couple of steps up to the door of the apartment and another couple internally from the main living area through to the bathroom room and bedroom with kingsize bed.
