Welcome to our newly renovated beach cottage. Only 5 miles from the white sandy beaches of The Gulf of Mexico. Located within walking distance to a convenient store and 2 locally owned restaurants. Access to 3 free boat ramps within 5 miles, one being only 1/4 mile from the property. Plenty of parking in driveway for your boat. Complimentary pancake breakfast which includes mix, butter, syrup and waffle iron. Check the Mermaid Mailbox on site upon check-in for your "Mermail". The space We are back! We went offline since last October to accomodate a semi-long term rental to a traveling nurse. The Incognito Mermaid is the perfect hideaway from the condo and apartment atmosphere for those wanting to enjoy the beach at a more affordable price. Only a short drive to the Navarre Causeway (2 turns) to the public parking at Navarre Beach. (5 miles. Takes 11 minutes from driveway to toes in the sand.) It is a great place for military members on TDY or military families who are PCS’ing. It's also great for "snow birding" or traveling nurses! For those who like to fish or boat, we are also only ¼ mile from a boat ramp to launch and land your boat in the bay. There is also 2 more free boat ramps within a 5-mile radius. Ample parking in the driveway for your boat 25 feet or smaller. 3 bedroom, 1 Full Bath home. Newly renovated in 2022. We are 20-ish minutes away from Hurlburt field and you will sometimes hear occasional noises due to training on base. Extras include: pancake mix, butter, syrup and a waffle maker for a delightful morning breakfast. Pots, pans, small appliances, cooking utensils, dishware and silverware. Outdoor shower for rinsing off after visiting our beautiful beaches. 1 Beach cart, 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, cooler, beach towels as well as some beach toys. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dish washing liquid, dish soap and hand soap. Items are replenished before each stay. You will have to replenish once items run out at a nearby store if more is needed during your stay. We provide four laundry pods, two rolls of toilet paper, and two rolls of paper towels other extra items include hairdryer, iron/ironing board, clothes hangers, and luggage racks. We also have an outdoor dining area with a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided). On site activities include: Corn hole boards with bags, ladder ball, disc golf putting tee with a few putters included, board games for all ages, puzzles, cards, and a book swap shelf. Guest access Access to the detached garage and other structures in the rear of the property are not included and are off limits. Other things to note Easy walking distance to the local convenience store as well as Where Ya' At Seafood and Restaurant for some amazing seafood. You can also walk to Ye Olde Brothers Brewery for some local craft beers and great food. Both restaurants are family friendly. We do have a welcome center as soon as you walk in to the home. This includes information of the many activities, restaurants, and other things to see while in town. If you let us know who all will be traveling with you or if you are celebrating a special event, we will notify the mermaid that enjoys delivering age appropriate mermail to all guests.
