Our family lives upstairs but if you have an urgent need, one of us should be ble to help you if we are in town Our family home is just outside of Montrose on a peaceful 12 acre lot with mountain views stretching from Grand Mesa to Ridgway. Sunsets are magnificent. We are high above Montrose with city light views at night on one side of the house, and stars on the other. We do have 3 friendly neighbors within sight and our family of four lives above; the kids are 13 and 15 years old and respectful of guests. You will find your accommodation to be clean, comfortable, relaxing, and relatively quiet. We live upstairs so you will hear some noise at times. We are in the country so we get an occasional spider , beetle, bug, deer, mice, rabbit etc. Hiking and amazing single trail biking are right out the back door! Get ready for FUN. Door dash is now available for restaurant delivery. We are out in the country! A vehicle will be needed to get into town. Walmart, restaurants and shopping downtown Montrose are 10 mins away. Ridgway is 35 min away, Ouray is 55 min and Telluride is 1:15min away, Black Canyon is 30 min away. This is the perfect central location to fish, raft, ski, bike, or hike in the best part of Colorado! She is very family-friendly and will remain upstairs but might be seen outside as well. We are listed as a pet-friendly house but we assume no responsibility for anything that might happen to any other animal that is brought onto the property. We are 12 mins from Montrose town, restaurants, shopping etc. We are 30 minutes from Ridgway, 40 minutes from Ouray, 30 min from the Black Canyon, and 1hr 15 min from Telluride. Partial A/C but not in bedrooms, an evaporative cooler is provided that works very well, all bedrooms have ceiling fans, in-floor heating for winter.
