This new and renovated modern home is perched in the quiet solitude of Crossett Hill and is the perfect base-lodge for a vacation in the beautiful Mad River Valley. Guests are only a few minutes from downtown Waterbury, with grocery stores, fantastic restaurants, bars, craft beer, coffee shops and more. During the winter, skiers have options with a short drive to the Sugarbush, Mad River Valley and Stowe Ski Resorts, and nearby Route 89 offers quick access to day trips in Burlington and Montpelier. Whether you’ve come for the skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, leaf peeping – or just to enjoy the local restaurants and famous craft beers - you’re sure to be comfortable in this home no matter the season. Living Area This home features a recently renovated upstairs kitchen and living room area, perfect for group gatherings, meals, or game-nights. The large entertainment room downstairs - with a pool table, dart board and bar area - is perfect for kids and adults alike, and features another living room perfect for movie night. Outdoor Area and Deck The large wrap-around porch and lower patio are great for decompressing and taking in the scenery upon returning from a day of activities in the Valley. Sleeping Comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests, three bedrooms have high-end, queen-sized beds, a fourth bedroom area has twin bunk beds (note: in a private area with partition, no closed door) and there is a full-sized pullout futon in the downstairs living room. Each room has easy access to one of our three full bathrooms, and the master bath features a beautiful clawfoot bathtub. Kitchen The newly renovated kitchen features beautiful wooden countertops, a large farm sink and all new appliances. We’ve stocked the kitchen with all the cookware necessary to prepare your next meal. WiFi and TVs The home is equipped with a strong WiFi connection and both TVs enable access to your favorite streaming services. Heating and AC Central heating all year, plus window AC units in upstairs bedrooms and main living area (Summer months only) We look forward to hosting you! Guest access You will have access to the entire house and surrounding property. You also have access to the large clean garage for use in any season, but definitely beneficial in the winter months.
