Welcome to our resort-like retreat (5bd/3ba) on the south end of Lake Lanier! Relax and let your stress melt away, or create fun family memories. This is our personal vacation home; we hope you love it as much as we do. The property provides two kayaks, two paddleboards, and a tie-up for your boat or a rental from a nearby marina. Our boat is not available for rent, but you can check with Aqua Sports Adventures for rental options. The space 🏡 Spacious Home with Personal Touch Enjoy over 3,000 sq. ft. of open space with plenty of privacy and relaxing areas. MAIN FLOOR - Bedroom 1: King bed - Bedroom 2: Queen bed - Shared Bathroom DOWNSTAIRS: - Bedroom 3: Queen bed - Bedroom 4: King bed with private bathroom - Bedroom 5: (Sunroom/Office) Twin over Full Bunk Bed - Curtains provide complete privacy. Please Note: This room has an exit door to the outdoors. Curtains for privacy from neighbors - Outdoor Gas Fireplace with seating for 4 (please note: propane-fueled, not suitable for roasting or open-flame cooking) - Outdoor games, including cornhole 🐾 Pets - Please disclose any pets joining you at the time of reservation. We allow up to two well-mannered, house-trained dogs of any size (Sorry, no cats due to allergies). - Due to insurance liability, Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, and Rottweilers are not allowed. - The pet fee is $200.00 for up to 2 dogs. - We prefer pets not to be on the furniture. If they have to join you, put a dog blanket down first to avoid a linen or damage charge. 🌊 The Lake - The lake is just a short walk away, featuring deep, clear water and a prime location close to everything. - We provided various sizes of life jackets and plenty of lake toys. - At night, the path to the main dock and the dock itself are illuminated. - There is also a fully enclosed second dock, perfect for fishing! ☀Safety - Swim at your own risk. - PLEASE be careful as it is a lake property with uneven surfaces, slopes, and steps. Negligence may cause a slip and fall, and care must be taken, especially with younger children - Understand the potential dangers and risks associated with water activities and dock access. Take appropriate safety precautions and assume responsibility for yourself and any consequences caused by your party as stated in the rental agreement. 🚤 Boating & Water Activities -Rent a boat or jet skis at Holiday Marina, or bring your own and tie up at our dock (there’s a boat ramp across the cove at Lanier Harbor Marina). Our boat is not for rent. - You can also relax on the dock and enjoy the sunsets. During your stay, you can access two kayaks (with backrests) and two paddleboards on our large NO-WAKE cove. 🍴 Dining & Convenience - Grill or cook at home, or drive 10 minutes to downtown Buford for great food and music. - You can also order from Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Instacart, which are all delivered right to your doorstep. ⛳ Nearby Attractions - You’re a short drive or boat ride from Lanier Islands/Margaritaville, where you can golf or visit the water park. - Margaritaville hosts fireworks at times throughout the year, they can be seen from one of our docks. Guest access Access to the entire home. Wildlife: You might catch a glimpse of some of our local wildlife enjoying their natural habitat! From charming box turtles to elegant deer, these creatures love calling the lake and woods home. Please admire them from a distance and let them be—they thrive best that way! And while box turtles may be adorable, remember that it’s illegal to keep them. Other Notes: ☆☆Liability Waiver☆☆ ☀ The terrain on Lake Lanier ranges from gentle slope to very steep. The flatter the walk, the shallower the water. The walk to our docks is considered moderate sloping for this lake. My parents, both in their 70s, handle the walk just fine. ☀ Please be careful as it is a lake property with uneven surfaces, slope & steps. Negligence may cause a slip and fall, and care must be taken, especially with younger children. ☀ Also, you understand the potential dangers and risks associated with water activities, dock access and take appropriate safety precautions, and assume responsibility for yourself and any consequences caused by your party. There is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk. ☀ Children under 13 should wear a life jacket around the water. We provide life jackets, but may not have them in every size More info: ☀ If inclement weather occurs, the umbrella by the outdoor fireplace needs to be closed, and the outdoor furniture needs to be covered. ☀ All dock items and lake toys should also be put back to avoid a fee. ☀ Follow checkout instructions - check for personal items. ☀ Bag all trash and put it in outside trash can - Wednesday pick-up ☀ Please disclose pets at the time of reservation. Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, and Rottweilers are not allowed due to insurance liability. Gwinnett County law requires dogs to be on a leash. The pet fee is $200.00 for up to 2 dogs. ☀ NO cats, due to severe allergies. ☀ We provide a starter supply of essentials to last approximately 4 days — just to help you settle in comfortably. ☀ Please note: There are outdoor security cameras on the property for insurance and safety purposes. These are owner-operated and located only on the exterior.
