The grill & outdoor seating make it easy to gather & create memories. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, Sunset Cabin is the perfect lakeside escape. The space Welcome to Sunset Cabin, a cozy hillside retreat overlooking beautiful Lake Brownwood. Conveniently located off 279, just 11 miles from Brownwood and close to a public boat ramp. You’ll also find essentials nearby with Big G’s Grocery, Dollar General, EZ Mart gas station, and Family Dollar less than a mile away. The cabin features 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, a den with lake views, a full kitchen, and spacious living room. The home comfortably sleeps 10, with the option to sleep up to 14 using 2 queen-sized air mattresses. - Master Bedroom: King Bed - Guest Bedroom: Two Queen Beds - Den: Stackable twin bunk beds - Living Room: Pull-out sectional with a queen-sized bed - Extras: Two Queen air mattresses Amenities & Comforts Your stay includes everything you need for a comfortable getaway: - clean linens provided upon arrival - fully stocked kitchen and laundry room - TV & WiFi available - Outdoor Gas Propane Grill - Propane Fire-pit - Wood Burning Fire-pit - Paddle Board - Kayak — all for guest use. Spend your days swimming, kayaking, or paddle boarding in the lake. Then sit back & relax by grilling on the deck or making s’mores by the fire-pit as you watch unforgettable panoramic sunsets over the water! Important Notes Watercraft’s: Guests are welcome to bring their own. Please check lake levels prior to arrival, as Lake Brownwood can fluctuate. We do not have a dock & only have the option to anchor. You are welcome to park in our U shaped drive or off of the grass. Lake Path: The cabin sits hillside and the trail to the water is natural with stairs & a decline down to the lake (incline back up). This may prohibit elderly guests, children, or people with disabilities from reaching the water. Please use caution. Safety: Always check for local fire bans before using the fire pit and be sure to extinguish ashes fully with water. Do not leave a fire unattended. Guest access During your stay, you’ll have full access to both properties — the cabin itself & the private lakeside lot. The cabin offers all the comforts of home, while the lake lot gives you space to swim, paddle, relax, and soak in the sunsets. Both are yours to enjoy with complete privacy throughout your booking. Other things to note Sunset Cabin is designed for making memories with family and friends. The panoramic views and peaceful serenity create the perfect backdrop for your stay. We welcome groups of up to 14 guests. If you’d like to bring additional guests or more than 5 cars, please let us know in advance for approval. Please do not park on the grass. While we want you to enjoy your time to the fullest, we do ask that you keep noise to a respectful level. We have elderly neighbors and this is their full time home. One warning will be given for excessive noise, and a second will result in your group being asked to leave. We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep Sunset Cabin a relaxing retreat for everyone.
