This apartment is your little piece of heaven with all the modern comforts you can hope for. This is the perfect place for the couple's getaway or "small" family adventures. This apartment is tucked back into the trees where you can sit and enjoy the views. You have two decks to relax on while you stay with us. The sun-warmed front deck faces the neighboring home and driveway, but because of the driveway cutout, amazing views of the mountain can be seen. The other, cooler deck is tucked into the surrounding trees with plenty of wilderness "feel" where deer often pass by and true solitude is found. This above garage apartment with queen bed is perfect for two people. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. It is small, but doable. In the winter, the windy dirt roads leading to the home and driveway can be slippery! 4x4 is advised!! All-wheel at least. (No Doulies or trailers ever) This is a true mountain drive. The correct vehicle is strongly advised. The parking can be tight, so please bring only 1 vehicle. There are several homes sharing the driveway Guest access Winter! November-March 4x4 is necessary- The neighbors are not wanting to be bothered "I cannot do another winter with people getting stuck in our driveway, hitting our cars, taking our shovels, ruining our landscaping, creating giant ruts and ice slides with spinning tires, blocking bottom of driveway, damaging our rock work and waking us up at all hours of the night. Please go to the end of the driveway. There are several homes that share the drive, park in front of the Entry Door to the right of the garage doors. There's a BHHS Vacation Rental sign above the door. Do Not Block Access to the garage doors, the neighboring home's tenants use the garage for their cars. Ground floor entrance to the house is to the right of the garage doors and where parking is for this unit. It is truly tight if everyone does follow the parking rules. If everyone plays nice, it will feel very spacious. But really, you must pay close attention! Winter is even trickier!! Please remove shoes when entering the house. Shoe rack provided behind door.
