This cozy cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a work trip to Chattanooga. It offers high-speed internet, a comfortable office space, and a private hot tub for stargazing. The space Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area. Lookout is our only single bed cabin, perfect for a romantic getaway or as a home base for your work trip to Chattanooga. Hi-speed internet and comfortable office space will ensure you are productive while you enjoy your private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature. Lookout Cabin sleeps 2 guests on a memory foam King bed in the sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, leather recliners, and more. Whether it’s a romantic weekend getaway, staycation, or a work trip, Lookout Cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga. Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, next to the deck awaits a space of pure relaxation, your personal hot tub with curtains for extra privacy. The living room features a cozy reclining leather couch, 2 lounge chairs, and a smart TV. The kitchen is stocked with kitchen essentials including the all-important coffee maker. A small bar height counter for two provides dining space. In the back portion of the cabin is office space outfitted with a spacious desk and comfortable chair. Up the stairs to the loft you'll find the memory foam king bed. To make sure your stay at Wauhatchie Woodlands is perfect, our locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. We are pleased to allow dogs at Lookout Cabin, under specific terms and conditions. See our house rules/notes for more information. Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. Guest access You'll have your entire cabin to yourself, as well as a private deck & hot tub. Your cabin is located within Wauhatchie Woodlands, a 14-acre property surrounded by National Forest. In addition to your cabin, you'll have access to trails throughout the grounds, as well as shared pavilions, community fire pits, and playground. Please be respectful of other guests during your stay. Other things to note Trains & Noise: Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. Deposits: Please note that guests under 21 or guests residing in the Greater Chattanooga Metropolitan Area will be charged a $200 refundable deposit subsequent to receiving their booking confirmation. Please review our policy forbidding parties, events, and unregistered guests to ensure your stay abides by this policy and does not jeopardize your deposit. No Smoking: Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside Timberroot properties. Refer to the rental agreement to see these policies and the additional fees that occur if you fail to follow them. Pests: We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out. However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so that our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay. By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances. Surveillance Cameras: Please note that for your safety, cabins may have a camera located on the front porch, facing outwards monitoring activity in front of the cabin (including driveway and roads).
